'Did ride’ I have no where to keep them now that we’re always moving the barge… the last two I had was the ZX10R Ninja and a KTM 990smr, really hated that bike the fuelling was a nightmare even when remapped, longer throttle cable throw etc…still kept trying to kill me :grimacing:

Fantastic! A beast of a bike, for sure. I imagine you towed it there, given all the mods that have been done. I have always wanted to get into track riding, but it’s too expensive. Oh well, maybe someday I can get out there and just have a nice easy go before I have to stop riding. I have hot-lapped the Corvette we used to have at Laguna Seca and have worked MotoGP and WSBK events, but I have never ridden a bike on track. So good on ya, dude!

Just average but with a healthy appetite for rubber

Nice! Pretty impressive for street riding. A knee-dragging good time, I’d say! :+1:t2:

Well kids, MotoGP season is a wrap. Pecco has successfully defended the number 1 plate, a mighty achievement. All hail the King!

And of course, there is always the post-season test at the Valencia track where they do the first shake-downs of their next years’ machines. Marc Marquez was there trying out his new bike. But this time, something looked different…

That’s no illusion, that is Marc Marquez on a Ducati. First time on the bike and he goes P1. The field is in such trouble!

The mighty PAN! Awesome. I see we have the nice road tires mounted. How is she treating you? I have heard very good things about this bike. I have not had the opportunity to ride one yet.

I had a BMW F850GS. In 9 months it had 4400 miles on it. I traded it in on the HD PA & it had 5000 miles on it in 2 months. It is way more comfortable to ride.
However the poorly thought out ignition technology has already failed. The key fob already quit working. New battery made no difference. Only one key fob was provided. The dealership isn’t near & it’s been parked for 3 or 4 months. I hate dealing with people I expect will screw me, like they did when I bought it. They made my 2022 BMW I traded in for $10k, irrelevant, as if I didn’t trade in anything. HD’s financial services are absurd.

Sorry to hear about the fob issue. I gotta say, it’s pretty cheesy to only give you one fob. Especially for the money you spent on it. Hopefully you can get it back on the road soon. Riding season rapidly approaches.

We have had a couple of fairly hot days here, it got to 92 today. So I broke out my hot weather gloves, the Reax Castor Air.

I really like these things. They are made of goat leather, which I like better than cow. They are really well made, and my hand goes right into them. Great feel and great grip. An excellent Summer glove. :ok_hand:t2:

Marc at a 68° angle :open_mouth:

LOL! This was his “indestructible” phase during his tenure at HRC. I lost count of the insane saves this man would pull off. As with all things, you can only get away with stuff like that for so long. Jorge Martin is kinda the same way, he achieves remarkable lean angles as well. Amazing to watch.

We have been having pretty decent weather lately, so I have been riding to work. this morning I rode the FA in. This bike was idle for quite a while, so it is very sweet to have it back from the shop and back online. They did a great job, too. She is running in top form.

This bike is such a contrast from the Trophy. As the Trophy is smooth, composed and very refined, the FA is brash, edgy and quite the handful; yet, at speed it is extremely stable and very graceful. It is very precise in its handling and is still a proper road missile. I can’t stop smiling the entire time I am on it. And I dunno, there is just something about a sunrise and a 42 mile stretch of wide-open 5-lane highway… it certainly gets your blood pumping. In honor of Flag Day, I rode my Shoei Qwest!

I was gonna put this in the “What did you Buy Today?” thread but decided to keep bike stuff here! I needed a replacement summer jacket, as my current one broke a cuff zipper and has pretty much had it! So I got this beauty from Rev’it

Sporty, but not over the top. This thing will flow a ton of air but still has good protection. And I can transfer all of the level 2 armor that is currently in my other jacket right over to this one. Looking forward to riding it.

I rode the jacket for the first time this morning. It was a good test, too, because the morning ride was 52F and the ride home was 87F, so that is a pretty wide delta. I rode the FA also to see how a more aggressive riding position was going to do.

The jacket performed perfectly. I was able to use different base layering to cover the temp swing and that worked a treat. The jacket goes on and off easily and wears extremely well. It moves with you and you don’t even feel the level 2 armor that is all over. My backpack comes right on and off, no hassles. I also like the new sleeve much better than the one on the old jacket. I was rockin my AStars GP-Plus R gloves and they just fit right over the cuff. Fantastic. And, I gotta say, I think it looks the business! After all, one must look good when one is shredding, no? :sunglasses:

Needless to say I am very happy with it. It actually adds to the ride. Great piece of kit. :ok_hand:t2:

I just got done watching the sprint race. I love the Silverstone Circuit. Both Bagnia and Marquez crashed out mid race by tucking the front! Bastianini took control and outrode Jorge Martin for the win. Aleix snagged a podium, which was nice. I’m starting to like these sprints more and more…
