Blon 03 hype thread

Yeah i see, it’s all the hype these days lol. And personally I thought it is worth it for me not to replace but use alongsode the tin t2 because of its polar opposite sound signature.

If I still feel like I want these then. I’m going to wait until the 11.11 sale on Linsoul. It should be at least 10% off and a chance a some other stuff which I’m sure they coded it so that only even numbers are used.

The clarity is heavily influenced by the tips, those pictured tips, gave me the best sound, I’m having problems getting the Dakoni tips to fit properly, slide to far back on the IEM, and thus the seal sucks and everything goes to shit. I even tried the T2 blue tips and they didn’t work for it/me. Those ones in the picture seem to produce the best sound.

Due to the size of the fit you can’t put the same tips on both then right? Because if you could that would be the best way to accurately assess the difference in clarity

Try the bee foam tips they work great for me plus you get 6 pairs for 7 bucks

The stem where the audio comes out is longer then a standard IEM, so the tip doesn’t seal the ear, I tried making one of those ring mods, but that ended up making the Dakoni tips to uncomfortable for me. But I ended up putting one size larger Dakoni then is normally comfortable for me and it ended up creating the perfect seal and another slight improvement to sound quality. This is the first time that I dealt with an IEM that I was tip rolling to find the right ones.

AggreEd what I use much better value proposition than the rest especially if you live in Canada like me

Hifiguidians, please help!
I’m trying to force a friend to try on decent IEMs so I wanna buy him a pair of the Blons - BUT he explicitly says he doesn’t want to hook them over-ear (he’s used to regular earbuds).
I need a cheap Linsoul/Aliexpress cable for the Blons that’s not looped at the end so he can just wear the Blons facing down without losing the sound/seal.

So, straight Blon cable suggestions (up to $15)? We need to show a poor soul that music can sound a 1000x more amazing

PS. the Spinfits tips are generally considered suitable for the Blon’s fit problem, right?

I’ve switched the left iem to the right and wear them down with Bee foam tips and I have no issue with them falling out .

Try this one, 2 pin connector without the bend. My brother is the same where he wont wear those types of headphone. Maybe you could even cut the plastic to get rid of the bend? Someone even mentioned using a heat gun to remove the bend

And measurements

I’m really starting to suspect that the BLON-03 were intended to be much higher priced IEM, but for one reason or another they were poorly designed (the bad fit and the issues with other tips) and they decided to cut their loses and dump them. Cheap cable, cheap bag and stock standard ear tips that don’t really seem to fit anyone. Without replacing the ear tips, its like no one could even use them, but with some care and planning these are amazing. I used them all day while working in the math lab and they were amazing and comfortable. You compare them to th T2 and its like looking at something that should be far more expensive, T2 are great for the price, but you can see in the design that they were made cheap and simple, but the BLON-03 look like a premium piece that was thrown in with all kinds of cheap accessories.

I’m willing to put money on it that the BLON-03 were suppose to be $150-300+ IEM that something went wrong, and I’m think it might have been the metal casing.

I could possibly see that, but I would say they would most likely not go over 250 imo

Maybe but I think blon being relatively new want to test out waters first see what hits and what will get them off the ground b20’s were a hit but sounds like a cheaper aiva , b8’s somewhat were a hit but similar to other Chifi headphone. O3’s really hit . With a good affordable price just cable quality and tip issues. now I want to see where they go from here. As anything below $200 in Chifi competition is fierce with tin, kz, moondrop
, trn, fiio,VE all competing in the same space for the same niche audience they have to pull something for a second success or take this and just give use mmcx with a t3 quality cable and half decent tips andfor another 10 to $20? Then you got yourself a fucking winner and I would pretty much personally ignore any existing iem under a $100 reccomendations wise except for the t2 cause that’s for those flat heads

This was a mistake in the sense that they thought "let’s give them something shiny with a abstract take on the Harman curve,I would bet blon is trying to market this as their sound signature. There is no company that is going to have this type of tuning and throw it to the trash( 38$ market) over bad fit plus it’s a metal shell vs plastic ,if anything they sacrifice on a gamble. The cable is crap, the ear tips are crap the little bag is that,c’mon it was a shot and they hit the bullseye.A mistake by underestimating what the market wanted, not what the creater intended

They dared to Driam? lol

I thought the 03 were tuned specifically by a guy who tuned another high end model? (names escape me)

If I remember correctly, BGGA said it was the same guy that tuned the Tanchjim Oxygens, which is a $270 set, but I don’t know the name of him.

Hello everyone! Wanted to know if anyone here has a shozy hibiki mk.1 and tin t3? How do the blons compare to those two?

Wait for it…
