that would explainga couple of discrepencies I’ve seen around in other groups. but now I’m curious where do my Blon Bl 03 sit in that spectrum is it in the middle?
Yeah a lot of questions pop up for me too. I’ve gifted these randomly assuming they are all the same. Had I know this I’d have asked their sound preferences.

I think it may be in the middle but leans closer to gunmetal but cant say for sure I only have these
reminds me of old soviet glass where runs are different and the factory matters and the model you get may or may not be what you where looking for

I actually really like how they sound with the silicone tips (the biggest ones for my enormous ear canals)
they fit really well except for the cable because of the fixed orientation. I’m actually using them regularly, so not over the ears, and just letting the cable loop before falling down to the ground and it’s not bad.
a new cable would just be a quality of life change but it’s not necessary by all means.
can’t wait to compare them to my T2s which are coming tomorrow

The review was good. What i found most interesting however were the comments! People are speculating that the different batches or possible bad quality control due to the hype has led there to be hit or miss results with each individual BLON. Some were tuned poorly and some apparently very well. What do you think about that? It’s kind of scary to think about

Yeah this drives me nuts. I wan’t blown away by mine (it’s pleasant, but really lacking details and clarity), thought there’s something wrong with my hearing or everyone else’s.
There are quite a few people with multiple pairs of these (I had, but gave them all away). Wondering if we can get some comparison.

I wasn’t blown away by Blons either. The worst is the fit which makes it difficult to use them all day.
Still prefer RevoNext Q2S. Just bought a second pair.

Interesting indeed, but I don’t know if yours have faulty tuning since I think everyone ALMOST universaly agrees that the detail and clarity aren’t particularly amazing. Definitely evident when compared to the TIN T2s. Now not being particularly wowed however is understandable

Yeah the fit is universaly hated lol. For some reason I got lucky and everything from the shape of the IEM to the cable actually fit me reasonably well
Yeah, the best thing to have is your own testing rig like Crinacle’s then you can test your gear and see if the graphs match with the reviewers.
I got the brown ones and I just did a quick test and its not as bass heavy as the comment would lead me to believe. Its not TFZ no.3 in the bass department. But i’ll have to do a more in-depth listen, when I gift it to the person. Initial listen is it wasnt too far off the T2
