I gave mine away to my stepdaughter she listens to D&B and uses bt shite, I originally got them out of curiosity and to use outside for work but found they didn’t fit me that well (tried all my usual tips both foamies and silicon) sound I though was good for the price but like Felix said they sound a bit vague detail wise for me, fun yes but not my cuppa tea.
i would agree with that, detail is not really the highlight of these. some nice bass detail but that’s it if
Yeah they’re a tad veiled, but still very good for the price.
Tastes of many yes, but not mine.
They’re brilliant for the time being but I know I want more because I’ve had more before.
If you want something that is more detailed and near the same price with no replacement wire needed, look at the Guideray Gr-i. Much more detailed. M0N said he liked his pair more than the Tin T4, which is saying something. About $50USD.
I’m giving them a try. I said I wouldn’t buy anything else, but it’s just $50, right?
Lol true. Also, all the colors are the same model still, so just pick whatever you like.
Or indeed the T2
I was looking more into mid priced stuff as I don’t want to pay continuously for cheaper IEMs, I’d rather spend big on a much better set
So far, all ChiFi models that had initially experienced incredible hype, had a fairly short half-life.
1.) There are simply too many models on the market at far too short intervals.
2.) Both the sound quality and the processing quality is very often very average.
3.) The internal quality control of the companies does not invite it to deliver permanently at a high level.
Example on BLON BL-03:
1.) The scope of delivery is at best modest.
2.) A very large number of people have problems with wearing comfort.
3.) These plugs sound significantly different from case to case depending on the margin.
In my opinion, the manufacturer landed an absolute coincidence in the tonal tuning and was lucky that the influential influencer made an incredible hype about these cans.
For example these two: tested with the same cable, the same tips, the same songs on the same player.
The left one, i.e. the grey one, is tonally significantly darker than the right one, but the right one curiously provides fewer details, which actually cannot be due to the tonally brighter tuning.
You may understand why it makes me more skeptical about ChiFi
i don’t know if i would include the blons in a chifi with lot’s of hype that got lucky where the influences helped them out. By the size and activity of this thread as well as all the people who stand by it including me i think these like the t2 are here to stay as something beloved for the sound. some people don’t like it, cool but evidently many also do
I think as you said M-L that the ChiFi companies pump out so many designs and driver configurations that every one in a thousand turns out to be diamond…I think it’s a bit like the infinite monkey theorem which states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type any given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare… As a posed to a more logical R&D and tweak stuff approach.
Please do not misunderstand, I like the BLON, they belong to the two dayly drivers that I use on the PC or possibly mobile on the ES100, their sound characteristics do not challenge me.
Because we are all only capable of multitasking to a limited extent in everyday life.
However, I really use other headphones for pure music enjoyment.
What’s the other one?
sorry, must have read the situation wrong
that’s a blon too. think he’s saying that the quality control is bad, and even tho the one on the right is tuned brighter and should inherently have better details it dosen’t
It is actually the KXXS, more details, more natural in sound, more comfortable to wear and also not as demanding as a tape or OH-10 for example.
thats a Good one!
oh shit sorry lol. thought they were the same thing
