Had a talk with the wife, or rather was on the receiving end of some impassioned sentences. Long story short, my one stress outlet of buying/researching/selling audio gear to find the right one for me is apparently stressing her out (constant packages, needing to print labels once/twice a week). We’re both stretched as thin as can be with the new child in the house, so I don’t blame her. This was just the last thing I could still do that I found remotely engaging while walking around with a napping baby for 3 hours at a time.
So here’s the deal, I can’t keep making comparisons or ordering new things, so I’m having to let these go prematurely. It would take too long and to make a proper decision about either of them.
THIEAUDIO CLAIRVOYANCE - $500 I have to give these just a little longer, I don’t want to be reckless.
No box or original cable/tips. You can pick between a sealed Faaeal Hibiscus 4.4mm terminating cable or a 3.5mm terminating cable from IMR. Case is with them. I could not see any blemishes to the shells.
ORIVETI OH500 - $320
Super well balanced and cohesive natural sound with bass boost.
This is the opposite, box and every single accessory still with it. I think the amber/tortoiseshell vibe is the best look going in the IEM world at the moment, but hey-ho.
Prices are exactly what you’d be invoiced (I cover fees and shipping, CONUS at least).
If you would like to pay F&F I can take off $15 for the Clair or $10 from the Orivetti. I have a lot of confirmed trades on my 9 year old reddit account (same uname) across multiple trade forums, plus some on Head-Fi to boot.

$500 for the Clair is a steal, if I didn’t own the Oracle I would have jumped at that. Also no box/accessories is not a big deal the oracle’s extras were okayish at best.

I feel your pain bro, same situation here. I don’t think i had 8 hours of sleep in the entire week combined and this hobby keeps me sane.
At least hang on to the really good gear so you can still enjoy music to its fullest, even without new gear.

just gauging interest - would anyone be interested in a dunu est 112 for £250, favourite sounding audio equipment but too uncomfy for me to use for long periods (baby ears), comes with all original accessories + original packaging (minus the little plastic baggies that aren’t re-useable), i’m the 2nd owner, used for less than 40 hours, well looked after, will list on ebay with pics if anybody is interested

I had the Sonys hooked up to the Sanskrit and the FOSI amp, which sounded pretty darn good. I’d do a package with those for $265. Only selling that set up because my new place came with a 7.1 system.
