Buy/Sell and Looking for Thread

Very interesting…Thanks for posting SeeAudio’s rebuttle. I still HATE their marketing, but now I almost feel like I need to get this so I can crack it open if I don’t like it and check the components for myself. Though, looking back at the pics, I wouldn’t be surprised if what’s being IDed as a piezo in that first pic is in fact a PCB or some such for a crossover. :man_shrugging:

As one unit it honestly looks like the cheap pezio drivers you can get from an electronics store. The issue is anyone taking something apart and making bold claims better understand how it was manufactured. I’m mean a large company could go after a guy in court if it’s damaging which in our hobby could be the case.

Totally agree. Regardless of the possibility of legal action, the better parts of common sense and doing the right thing would suggest that you not make those kinds of claims without being totally sure of the veracity of your claim.

P.S. Sorry for the sidetracked thread everyone. I think we’re done and if we’re not, we’ll move to PMs. I should’ve done that earlier, but alas, it’s past my bedtime and I’ve had a few glasses of Scotch so…

Edit: Also, thank you once again for posting the reality check on the original info. Well done, sir! :+1::sunglasses:

Scotch solves everything , and agreed but keyboard warriors will spread info without checking it.

Back to your regularly scheduled program.

Considering possibly trading my Jomo Trinity Brass for other gear, I’m pretty much open to anything so feel free to send through an offer.

The OG Monarch is still one of the best tribrids out there, IMO and at that price it’s an incredible deal. Someone could make themselves VERY happy by snatching it while they can!

Edit: I should add that I really dig the stock cable that came with the Monarchs. It’s understated and cool lookin’ at the same time.

100% the cable’s quality is really nice, thick and sturdy, and of course the Monarch is a beast in its own right

Sound-wise, I think you’re absolutely right, but IIRC isn’t the OG Monarch on the larger side? I think I remember hearing people complain about it being too big to really be comfortable unless you have larger ears. Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, my memory has been known to be hit or miss.

No, you’re right, the OG Monarch is definitely a big IEM and the MK2 is even bigger. FWIW, I have no trouble fitting the OGs and I think they’re pretty comfy. My tale with the Mk2s is a different story. I sold my first pair of Mk2s because I absolutely could not get a fit that didn’t have me hurting after 30 minutes. I did just pick up anothet pair because I have come across a few tip options that I think might make the Mk2s workable.

The OGs are ok actually from my experience. I find them way more comfortable than the Oracles which has a diffferent ear design. The MK2s on the other hand would not stop wiggling out hahaha

I found the OGs fine and about avg size for a tribrid. They have a good shape that fits snugly.

Anyone have a used Mangrid Up or MK2 they want to get rid of?
Got the Top, and they blew me away.

I’m in the same boat kindn of. Got the xenns top about a day after I got the Oracle mk2. Can’t figure out which one to keep and which one to sale/trade

For sale in the U.S. Prices are shipped and Paypal G&S.

Focal Elex- i doubt these have 5 hours of use. Original box and cable, plus 4ft Hart Audio cable. $500

Beyerdynamic Dt 1990- maybe 3 hours of use between gaming and music. Original box and cables. $420

I bought both new, and neither are worth it to me. I can’t justify keeping these when i have $200 iems and $120 headphones that i actually enjoy more.

You really think they match up to the MK2’s?

Haven’t listened to them both enough but they do sound very similar to me. But that is just my thought on them. I will say,I do love them both.

Finally decided to get into the electrostatic madness. Does anyone have a beginners’ set for sale in Europe? STAX L300 or KOSS ESP 95X? With energizer. Thanx
