Buy/Sell and Looking for Thread

Holy!! :face_exhaling: I’ve never seen on of these before and it was a shock to say the least!

BUMP

IEMs, DAPs, TWS.

Please note the stupidly priced Clairvoyance [SOLD], among other very low prices.

YO, BUY THIS MAN’S FAN 2! If you want a cheap warmer-than-neutral but still technical set with a really huge soundstage and deep mid-bass but minimal bleed, for the price, this is your set.

Low-key, this is better than Olina if Olina is too neutral or thin for your tastes. Nothing at this price beats it!

:stop_sign: SOLD

It’s time to let my HIFIMAN Sundaras go… Ever since I bought my E-MU Teaks, I’ve barely used these.

Great condition. These are the revised version with the angled pads. There is some wear and tear that you’d expect after 2+ years, but they still look great!

Bought for $350, they seem to sell new for $300 + tax now.

Selling for $200 OBO, plus shipping within the US.
I’m in the SF Bay Area and would be happy to meet.

Included: box, OG cable, documentation
Bonus: adapter for custom pads, never used.

Stand not included!

Price update

Seriously, if I hadn’t just bought your Excaliburs and didn’t already own the Monarchs these would be calling me. $400 for a pair of Clairs in excellent condition? Get out of here!

Just writing that has me thinking irresponsible thoughts…

Edit: I forgot, I was going to add that @rattlingblanketwoman is probably the most prompt seller I have ever dealt with when it comes to communication and shipping. I have dealt with him twice and both times I made the purchase at night and the next morning my package shipped out, packaged well, and with an item that was exactly as described. If he says excellent condition, then it’s in excellent condition and you won’t have any nasty surprises. So buy with confidence!

Props to you for hanging a suspension headband properly – by the frame, not the band.

I would venture to guess that most people who bitch about Audeze headbands stretching quickly probably also hang their cans by that leather or pleather band instead of the metal frame.

I can already tell you care for your cans VERY well just by the attention to detail you pay to proper hanging. Well done, man!

I was thinking the exact same thing!

Putting out some feelers as I look to free up some funds for a new source or headphones (can’t decide). Lmk if you are interesting and want some pictures. Prices are F&F and including shipping

  • Yanyin Moonlight - $430: 3rd owner, includes accessories and case but no box. Everything is in great shape and working order. To sweeten the pot I’ll even throw in a Tanya modded Olina (w/ cable) for an extra $20!
  • Penon Vortex - $130: Original owner, includes box and full set of accessories minus the original cable, hence the steep discount. I really love this set but it gets no listen time over my IE600 so I think its time to let it go.

What an incredible add-on! Absolutely fantastic seller.

Thanks! I am still going back and forth on if I should keep the Olina as my beater and keep the Vortex. I prefer the Vortex over the Olina but could theoretically get more for the Vortex… Then there is the idea of selling both and getting the Maka when it comes out as its shape looks similar to the Moonlight and the price should be right!

But won’t the maka be a sub $50 set? Or am I just misinformed?

Also, that price is fantastic!

exactly. Sorry for being confusing. My point was the IE600 has dominated my listening time. It’s like my perfect FR although I prefer more bass (it is lighter on bass than it graphs). At this point having all that money wrapped up in my other IEMs doesn’t make much sense and neither does keeping the Olina or Vortex in a drawer. Thats where the Maka comes in. At a pricepoint of $35 it is totally reasonable as a beater/travel set to compliment my IE600 and I don’t feel bad if I rarely listen to it. Plus it looks like it will have some decent shaping and wings similar to the Moonlight that have worked really well for my ears.
