Buy/Sell and Looking for Thread

Selling some like-new IEMs.

As someone who as owned/owns 3/4 of these, what did you end up with?

Anybody have a pair of TRI i3 or i3 Pros you’re lookin’ to get rid of? Hit your boy up and let’s get a deal done! :+1:

It may not be the answer you find most satisfying, but I found myself being too critical of each and every IEM, so I decided to settle down with Moondrop Aria Snow. It’s been serving me great so far, and I took a bit of a step back from finding my “perfect” end-game lol

Looking for a set of tripowin olina to use with my ps5 if anyone has a set let me know please. Local to houston tx.

All prices F&F. These prices are for Hifiguides users.

IEMs

$60 Penon Fan - Perfect condition, all OG accessories incl. box. I think my stabilized wood panels came out extra nicely. Super lush bass and mids. (new price = $139)

$30 Sony MDR-EX750BT bluetooth headset can add details around lunch time. Super sound, not unlike MH755 etc

$40 Hifiboy OS V3 unused, all accessories (new price = $149, although it doesn’t really compete in that range hence my price)

$25 KiwiEars Cadenza (RED) all Candenza colors come shipped in boxes with the blue picture. Beryllium coated driver, using a green one atm, this is an unopened, sealed extra set. Buyer on reddit

DAPs

No MicroSD cards included, only include accessories shown/mentioned.

$150 Aune M2 Pro Class A amplifier and AK4490 DAC. You can hear the “click” when it powers on the same as the B2 amp. Heck of a sturdy build, and super fast interface. The sound is phenomenal and I’d say neutral. Comes with box and cable. Cosmetic condition is very good but not perfect, see photos. One deeper scratch on the screen. (new price = $499, last second hand sale I saw sold it for $290)

$90 Astell & Kern Ak Jr Wolfson DAC, not the snappiest interface but not the worst, you’re used to it if you’re used to Astell and Kern. Beatiful design in hand, in fantastic condition.

$230 Hiby R6 Pro Protectors on front and back, no issues. Case included. Grey, but not stainless steel.

$190 Hiby R5 (Non Pro) a top favorite form factor for me, favorite of Hiby’s R line. Includes case, protectors on front and back. This has wear in one location: the sim-tool hole for making the MicroSD tray pop out. That’s it. 3.5mm and 4.4m, type C for data and charging. SOLD (F&F)

$120 Cowon Plenue D2 compact, punchy sound, takes MicroSD and also has 2.5mm balanced out. Case included. Fantastic battery life. Intersting fact: the internal storage is also MicroSD, so if you every take it apart you can upgrade it. MicroUSB, not type C.

$80 FiiO M6 price includes a very solid case. A very nice simple straight forward player on the smaller side but not too small for the touch interface to make complete sense. Based on Android but does not run full android. 3.5mm single ended output only. As with most of the others, protectors still applied, no damage beneath. Solid little performer for the price of a BT receiver!

$55 iBasso DX50 completely sealed! The only valid concern would be “I’ll bet the battery is a bit tired after being unused for so long” - good point, but I have good news! This DAP takes a very easily and cheaply purchased battery (think cell-phone battery).
Check it out on Amazon, less than $20 for brand new battery performance. I have absolutely no experience (it’s sealed) of what its battery can do as-is, for all we know it’s working fine anyway, but nothing to worry about.

OTHER

$35 Tempotec V1 most of the clearly visible wear is to the protector which can be removed. Note - this is a transport, not a player. It has type c and 3.5mm out but no DAC - no sound will play until you feed that into an amp/dac. A great way to turn something like an iFi xCan or other bulkier amp/dac into a DAP when you want it to be. Two microSD cards for storage, also has bluetooth and plays with HibyLink (phone with small storage? Carry it on this tiny thing, linked to your phone). Never seen something quite this compact, skinnier than Shanling M0 for example.

Or if you want a HHKB Professional Hybrid Topre BT/usb keyboard, you can buy mine for $190 F&F, while I’m at it! No cable, perfect condition, perfect functioning, protective cover. Takes Type-C. Sold via private conversation on Reddit via F&F (mechmarket doesn’t allow F&F)

Bump - reduced a few prices On This Stuff

Good deal on the keyboard. I’d probably snag it if it weren’t for the silent switches. Unfortunately I’m a clickitty-clackitty keyboard person. My wife hates my keyboard both in function and noise. GLWS!

Thanks! I don’t like clicky switches/sounds, but usually I’d go for a higher resistance than the 45g of Topre. The market’s moved on for switch names and configurations, but I’m happy typing on a heavy linear (Gateron/Cherry blacks) or a heavy tactile (Kailh Box Heavy burnt orange, etc.)

I found an affordable (around $50) hotswap TKL that should meet practical needs (ergonomic, programmable, bluetooth) without going off the deep end into keyboards again. It even comes with nice stock keycaps, so another thing for me to not obsess about!

TBH my logitech BT keyboard with round flat keys (K380 I think?) has served me very well ever since I left the keyboard hobby and needed something as practical as they come, but it’s causing discomfort with longer typing.

The scissor switches on my Macbook Air M1 keyboard(belongs to my work) are actually very comfortable and responsive, even for a flat keyboard.

Sorry to sidetrack, happy to continue elsewhere!

Must be nice to be able to keep yourself from going off the deep end with custom mechs. They’ve taken over my life and are stopping me from spending more on this hobby and my astrophotography, haha. Is that HHKB using silenced topre or normal topre switches? Wondering since I know that silenced topre Leopold boards sound absolutely amazing, even without lubing or other modifications.

I feel you! Even dipping in quickly to see what’s going on there’s so much that tempts me, glad the simple TKL was a no-brainer. If I had the funds I really like the Ikki68 Arurora for looks and sounds, but it could be for practicality that I would get a Tex Shura or other keyboard from them that mimics the thinkpad layout (and trackpoint!)

Back to your question! Just regular Topre.

Schiit IEMagni - $100

  • About a year old now. Great condition. This unit runs warm. Original packaging everything included.

Schiit Magni Heresy - $65

  • Second owner. Great Condition. Pot is staticky like many others. No original packaging but everything will be included

Schiit Modi 3+ - $75

  • About a year old. Used less than either of the amps. Great condition. Original packaging and will include a cable, but it might not be the original one.

Drop x Sennheiser HD6XX - $175

  • Bought a while back. First set was replaced under warranty and got into IEMs before the new pair came back. Sat around for months and was recently used for a couple months regularly but still really good condition. Got Sundaras and prefer them now.

Tinhifi P1 - $75

  • My first IEM. I’m the second owner. The first owner was actually Dan’s Audio Reviews, and the set was well taken care of. A few scratches but nothing major and in good condition. All tips except the original foams have been lost or used and will not be included. Everything else and original packaging are included though.

Thanks for looking. Enjoy the rest of your day. Let me know if price is an issue, and I may be able to work with you.

Man, $130 shipped for a newer magni/modi stack with cables thrown in? Where were you when I was a broke and starving musician in need of a stack? That’s a great deal! This whole thread and the way folks give back on here gives me the warm and fuzzies.:blush::metal:

[WTS or trade; UK or EU] Selling my Rikubuds Alter Rider 1. These got me into earbuds, so it’s not easy for me to let them go. But, I’ve expanded by earbuds collection and these really deserve more play time. I’ve made a special price just for the awesome HFGF community: £35 including shipping within UK (I paid 60 euros). Little extra for shipping to EU. I’d consider a trade (TWS or dongle). Comes in the original packaging and a couple of the original foams. They are in excellent condition.

RikudouGoku describes the sound signature as: Neutral; sub-bass roll-off like usual buds, mid-bass is neutral yet very textured, pretty even vocal balancing of male/female, treble is smooth, quite airy and clean, massive stage (more width than depth but close) and very airy, excellent timbre. See his database here: RikudouGoku's Database - Google Sheets.

Cheers!
