Yes sir. One of the first sets I had. It was right around the time I got away from Reddit for advice and came here. Started with HBB and then found @nymz and joined the cult. I’m on the fence with this one since it’s dear to my heart and not really making me much.
Edit: Come to think of it I believe it was the first set I ever paid more than $200 for.
True. It doesn’t get much use these days. However, I’ll bring it out occasionally as a reminder to how it still has relevancy in todays market and that it still brings gets me toe tapping and smiling despite having owned and heard kilobuck IEMs. The tuning definitely has a nostalgic value that hits me and is unique compared to a lot of stuff being pushed today.
I owned the Tea 2 briefly and was really disappointed in it. Xenns really killed the special sauce the OG Tea had and caved to the market with a more traditional tuning. Sorry for getting the thread of track.
What’s in your current rotation? I ask because I own the Mahina as well, and like them a lot, so I’m wondering what others who have had them for a while have upgraded to…and how much I should save now lol (currently eyeing those Meteors…)
Sold SA6U for sale $520 F&F or you can head over the Head-Fi listing if your more comfortable buying via G&S for $540. No rarity markups and original owner. Also comes with the USB-C to 3.5mm DAC that was included as a gift. Graphing was done by me and is of this set. Shipping to United States only for now.
Selling a Rad-0 I picked up on trade. Headphones are in really good condition with a new headband. The OG owner had ripped up the original headband a bit to squish the pad down to make room for the suspension strap–I went ahead and removed the pad from it and added a ZMF Pad to the strap to make it comfy–now you’ve got two nice options. Pads are in really good condition. Comes with a really nice Norne cable that terminates in 3.5mm, as well as an XLR cable. Has the original case, but the foam is not original, I cut that foam to accomodate the headphones and the accessories. Beautiful headphone in looks and sound.
I know this might be a stretch, but I’ve been thinking of this lately. I was going to try to reach out to Hakugei and XINHS and see if they’d be willing to make a USB-C cable for me. Maybe try Hakugei first as they seem to have lower pricing and I can vouch for their cable quality, it’s fantastic.
Thanks for the recommendation, I am sure XINHS would do that for me as we are buddies haha I already annoyed the shit out of them by asking so many questins about different cables haha
But it does not need to be something special just a cheapo cable that is flexible and preferably under 10 bucks…there a so many on AliExpress and I don’t want to order 5 types to find a really flexible one that’s why I thought to ask here first
