WTS - AFUL Performer8

Basically like new - listened a few hours to review. All stock tips unused (these are excellent on Clarion tips).

I got them at a discount to review them.

These are great but I just keep going back to my Supernova so I’m passing on the reviewer price to someone who will enjoy these more than I will!

$300 shipped in the US, PayPal fees on me.

Edit: SOLD

Timestamp that pictures everything I will be selling today

These and more items can be found on my github page which also provides cross references for feedback. If there’s a cheaper price here than there, go by the cheaper price.

  • Pricing is firm, and is through PayPal F&F.
  • For at least today (6/6/23) I will take G&S payments too. Just add 5% to the price.
  • CONUS shipping is included (cheapest USPS option)
  • Individual/closer up photos are linked to from each item.

Last day that I can print and mail easily at school. After today I have to drive to print, in a week or two will have to find time around a newborn and 2 other fantastic kids.

Headphones

IEMs and earbuds

  • Sealed - LZ A6 $150 Looks like it sold at Penon or Linsoul for $310 when it was available, asking $140 sealed. Lots of nozzles to change tuning with, and a built in gain switch.

  • Sealed - NiceHCK NX7 Pro $75 As with any of these sealed sets, sorry I can’t give an impression of the sound.

  • NF Audio NE4 Revolution $240 with box/accessories (incl. promotional poster!) and all stock tuning plates plus a rare 4th tuning plate.

  • ANew X-One 1DD, 4BA, 3 tuning chips $140 These are being sold for over $300 new elsewhere. Used for 30 minutes.

  • Audio Technica LS200 $50 Warm sounding 2 BA set with memory wire ear guides, in red. Note: these use A2DC, not MMCX. Comes wtih 2 cables, one with mic one without.

  • Sealed - 1More quad-driver in-ear earphones $60 trying to price at 1/2 or below of new price, and these are still sold/in stock on Amazon and from 1More

  • Sealed - Tin T2 Pro $20 or $15 bundled

  • Tangzu Wan’Er$15 or bundle for 10 For some reason I pictured it with the wrong cable, but it will come with its stock cable.

  • Hifiman RE-262 $50 A pretty ancient set by now, but very natural/neutral/I like the mids. Comes in a pretty dope case with cable extension choices and tips. Can be worn down or up. Unusual appearance!

  • Tin HiFi P1 $80 or $75 as add on. These need some power to sing, but have a great flat response that even so has good bass levels, does have sub-bass roll-off. Carrying box and accessories (one set of silicone tips missing, I think the L size).

  • Sealed - RevoNext NEX202 open-back earphones $20 or bundle for $15

  • KBEar F1 $10 each, or $6 each as add-ons. Single BA. Amber has 1 pair of tips missing, smokey has everything.

  • NF Audio NM2 $50 with box/accessories.

  • Tin Hifi C2 “Mech Warrior” $15 or add on for $10. Boxed and accessories.

  • Sealed - Edifier H180 earbuds Yours for the cost of shipping, or free added on.

Wireless buds and TWS

  • Noble Falcon Pro TWS $125 no damage anywhere, full accessories except for tips, no tips.

  • Apple/Beats Studio Buds $40 Excellent condition, no tips but I can try to find something generic to include. As shown, warranty is active until 9/7/23.

Sources (DAC/DAP/AMP)

  • JDS Labs OL DAC $45 No blemishes or issues to mention, comes with power brick.

  • F.Audio XS-02 $75 I love this player. It has an AKM4490 chip and great dynamics. I love the clicky buttons. You can swap the op-amps out very easily. It has a low and high gain port (both 3.5mm) and takes MicroSD cards and uses MicroUSB for charging. Holds a very good charge.

  • VentureCraft SounDroid Valoq $100 I would recommend a new battery for this (circa $20 on AliX). A really fun player, a very firm power/volume knob, a jog wheel for navigation, balanced output, very sturdy, op-amps can be easily swapped using a hatch in the back. Condition is showing wear, including scuffs to the screen. Hopefully it goes to a collector who plans to use it. AKM4490 chip.

Accessories

  • Massive foam/gel selection of eartips $45 or $40 bundled. Completely unused Monster gel sets, several sealed Comply foams (all L), some Newbees, some hybrid (seem to be L) and some sealed silicones too for good measure.

Solid dude with some very solid prices!

GLWYS, RBW :handshake:

Hello, fellas

I’m currently looking for a decent stand-alone desktop DAC for my set up at home. I was looking at the usual contenders around $150 from Topping and FiiO so before I pull the trigger on a brand new offering for that price point, I was wondering if anyone has anything they’d like to get ride of for around $150 that might work well for me. Not looking for anything specific, just something that has decent specs that doesn’t color the sound too much either way.

If you have anything, please send me a PM, thank you!

Not sure if “looking for” means this as well, but: does anyone know of any digital-only Bluetooth receiver that receives LDAC, decodes it and outputs the PCM via USB, and lets you feed that into any DAC you want? Has to be portable/pocketable, like no more than… BTR7-ish size. (I’d like to upgrade my HiBy FC3 dongle to BT receiver status and not switch to a ready-made receiver that outputs analog audio at different parameters than the FC3.)

The only one that I can think of is the Fiio bta30 pro. It can transmit and receive ldac. The only problem is that it doesn’t have usb out, only line, optical, and coax out.

SMSL SD-9.

LOL, that does way more than what I asked and is gigantic. I guess I forgot to say “portable”. :stuck_out_tongue:

at that size I don’t know of anything with USB out

In a delayed response to your question, I got the Ambrosia’s today and they are Awesome, IMO.
A very nice headphone for $499.00. Great bass and mids, depending on your amp.

These are much more well rounded than the Bee planars. And MUCH easier to drive. I think he will do very well with these.
