Buying iem under 200$

according to hifiguides itself the best IEMS for me would either be final audio E2000s or the BLON BLO3

i just like punchy drums and guitar tones so something warm is nice

I would say the final e3000 would be more up your alley than the e2000. The e3000 is a bit warmer and more punchy

its weird… hifiguides calls them more neutral… the only issue with the final would probably be the lack of detachable cable so if my cat chews is there is literally no safety net of just getting a 2pin or MMCX wire

This one is quite convenient.

Sure you can get wireless IEMs… but will your cat eat these too? Lol…

i just need one that isn’t french canadian

Is the skinnier one from Audiotechnica as well?

Those cases are all from AliExpress, the smaller ones for less than 2 dollars each, the bigger ones KZ for 3.
They look pretty much identical yes.

though i usually wouldn’t trust an Ebay seller and think that getting an export from them instead of an official source might be a bad idea i probably should go for the final E3000s (probably with a microphone just because i need a pause button on these things) with the audiotechnica case and have my wireless for whenever its really essential (they have a much better microphone than any cheap IEMS i had)… the only thing to fear with Chi-Fi right now is the coronavirus and i never had a case on any earbuds before (again only had like 10 dollar earbuds that just came in a plastic package with no case)

Lol don’t worry, it’s impossible for it to survive shipping.

So i got both iem. I fall asleep most with the kanas pro. Whether that’s good or bad i don’t know lol, but i guess the sound is soothing. But there tips can more easily put on too far.

Been listening to them everyday for hours and I can definitely vouch for the Starfields. Extremely non-fatiguing, comfortable and good value. It you don’t like the Harman curve then avoid but I find it a very pleasing sound signature. If you can dish out more than 200 (which would go against the thread title lol), the JVC HA-FDX1 looks really good too. Though I have a feeling I wouldn’t find the fit as comfortable so I’m sticking with these.

So i may not keep the ikko oh1, i dunno. They’re good don’t get me wrong, but the kanas pro are so pleasing to listen to. The cable is also awesome compared. The oh1 have a decent cable, but the kanas just have a step above. The oh1 definitely have a better :ear: shape.
It seems like i probably need an extra small tip in general though. The small spiral dots are just barely painful.

If you like extra small tips, I would recommend trying Spinfit tips like their small sizes.

it seems like im more interested in a V shape then a warm shape (seeing as i was thinking the 58x though good lacked the slight brightness of texture i liked about the M50s and weren’t really WOWing me). so i need something good and wowing for both music and for netflix watching (i will be buying these before june or so because i have an 8 hour car ride and those are SUPER FUN /s) and preferably under 100

Many choice under $200
QDC Uranus
Moondrop KXXS
Shozy from 1.4
Tin HiFi P1

Voyager 3 is my recommendation, also great for bed.

Of all the IEM’s I’ve tried under $200, I prefer the Guideray GR-i58 and my favorite are the Ikko OH-1.
