Cheese appreciation thread

Fun fact…the smoked gouda I mentioned earlier has a windmill on the label.
I thought it was from my area of Wisconsin, which has a fair amount of Dutch
folks and a nearby town even has a windmill. Closer inspection of the label
revealed it is actually imported from Holland!!! LOL.
“Dutch Mill Dance” … it’s so good that I eat the crackers separately!

Didn’t much care until recently but I started trying a few different varieties, and so far I’m loving the cheddar and I’ve been actually wowed by some sliced Edam being sold by the Auchan chain under their own brand, not sure where it’s produced, I think Germany.

Along with my go to Cheddars I’m enjoying a beautifully cream unpasteurised Cote Hill Blue with a cheese I’ve not tried before Brun De Noix which will be sampled tomorrow :yum:
