I can’t comfortably afford it right now, but still it’s nice to fantasize if I could. Talked to the seller and asked for the possibility of meeting up to demo the MEST and he was cool with it haha

Take some time to enjoy mele/timeless first dude. Also if bass is your focus, apparently IE900 is one of the best for that, could be another option.

Could be, or it could be the bass alone. Since we hear everything as a whole, adding more bass will affect everything else.

well, yes it’s the Xinhs Graphene 8 cores, and yes I like it more than the 560$ (!!!) stock cable… but I think this goes down only to personal preferences, I mean I can surely see and understand people who instead will like the stock cable over everything else, it’s just that to my ears (and yes, I’m deaf ) the Xinhs sounds a little bit more dynamic and extended. peace and love and music with whatever cable you like

Yep if they slashed $500 of the MEST II price they’ed have a lot more buyers…Fact.
A bit like the Bird with it’s $2k PW 1960’s cable…a 1/3 of the price of the set
