Custom cable gallery

I just ordered a Hart 2.5mm(2) to XLR. The hype is real. I hope my cable outperforms cables in the $150-1500 XLR range.

In all seriousness, it’s a good value for an XLR cable, so ordered one.

Time will tell, but they’re off to a good start. What I like most about them is the interconnect system. I’ve got a balanced connector in loxjie p20, SE in atom, and 2.5 balanced in es100. I can use all of my headphones in any of my amps without changing the cables.

I’ve seen that concern about the MMCX design before. It’s definitely a beefier cable, but seems to be more flexible than folks expect. I’m glad you’re happy with them so far!

I have a headphone cable from Periapt with an XLR connector and MMCX connectors for IEM’s. THEY are bulky and very different to use!

Huh, didn’t know periapt made mmcx cables

Not officially… but they have told me they will do them by request. But they also told me not to “advertise” it… so I guess they don’t want to do it a ton. =P

IMO, brux (Hart Audio) mmcx cables are great. I use them with the Tin P1s.

Hey @XmetaldaveX, what is that luscious soft looking leather wrap around the Senn headband? Did you make it or purchase somewhere?

It was super expensive. Haha.

The pilot pads from ZMF would be just as nice if not nicer.

Am I missing something because why did you link a child’s car seat

Look closer. Seat belt covers

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh that’s pretty smart lol

Oh, that is smart. Those things are tough, too. Draw on them, chew on them, even smear shit all over them and they wash up perfectly and keep on working. :unamused:

All these talk of thick paracord cables with MMCX connectors. Now I want to see a set with IEM’s on. Seems like that’s going to be awkward. Lol

Same lol, I wonder how comfortable it would be on your ear

I’ll let you know and post up pics :+1: …hope it’s going to be a 3.5mm TTRS balanced tho? lol

Yeah, that XLR to MMCX is quite the setup. Plug them in to a high power amp like a 789 or a Benchmark HPA-1 and see if you can light the IEMs on fire!!:joy:

Lemme just hook em up to the setup I use my he6 with lol
