Try emailing [email protected] as he may be able to get a faster response to you there. I know he’s backed up into February last I heard, so there will be a wait either way. I don’t know that he currently has access to a supply of those connectors, but he would know better then me. Again, shoot him an email and he may be able to get back to you sooner that way.
He made and shipped a v nice mmcx cable to me in the uk so I would think there would be no probs to Germany.
If in doubt just email him with your requirements
please give us an upade later - I also planned to order some custom ones with shipping to germany
I imagine the shipping was a bit more expensive
A tad but not too much more if I recall correctly.
I know it’s $4 here in the US, so if it’s not that much more international, that’s great.
Not too much but I did get hit by customs charges, but with it all tallied up a similar price to my regular uk builder
Yes with oidio sound uk, there was always something around 9pounds if you stay under 60 pounds, if I remember correctly
For shipping From uk to germany - fair but not super cheap.
Now that brexit is save, I see me trying some US custom cable makers and compare a bit
As long shipping costs are reasonable. Once I had a 85 dollar cable in the basket and with checkout I saw 60 dollars for shipping
Personally I think his modular design is brilliant. Wear out cables not ports!
Hey man sorry it’s taking me so long to make an appearance on here. My life has gotten very busy lately. Miss browsing HFG while I’m at work. I’ll try to answer your questions as best I can, and again, as some others have said, emailing me at [email protected] is a good way to get in touch with questions like this. But be patient with my response times, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for me to keep up with email >_<

Yes we do, just provide an address and we provide you with a rate!

I don’t have an inexpensive source for 800s connectors, so those cables are MUCH more expensive than our other designs, at like $100. Same story with the dan clark audio stuff. I have some customers waiting on me to finish a design with those DUM connectors they use, but I just haven’t had a chance yet. Beyerdynamic seems to use common stuff so that’s not a problem.
If you’re asking if our interconnects are wired to only be compatible with one headphone cable, that is not hte case, any of our balanced headphone cable designs will work with any of our interconnects. Single ended headphone cables designs only work with our IC-1 and IC-2 interconnects.
Hope that helps abit.
To stay on topic, here’s some pictures of recent custom cables. Sorry for the poorer than usual picture quality.
Here’s one from back when I had time to take decent pictures of some of this stuff before I sent it out.
I will hopefully be posting a very big update to our product line and some other improvements in the next month or so. I’ll post it here on HFG since it’s pretty much been home base from the beginning. Here’s a preview:
I really hate the box we have now so can’t wait to start shipping this thing.
wow… clearly you have not compromised anything in terms of quality even with the huge increase in orders. Great photos… Some really nice looking stuff there! I especially like that cable you made for the NDH 20s. =)
Thank‘s Man, I will send you an E-Mail with all the Details.
Nice, the case looks good. Maybe it’s time I get one of those from you.
I just ordered a all black cable for my Sendi Aiva, very excited for it. Hope the 1/4" adaptor also has the Heart Audio branding on.
Just got my order from HAC a few days ago.
Really nice stuff, The NDH-20 cable is a prototype he’s been working on… think it’s gonna be a offering on the site soonish. Also ordered a 2.5ft extension cable and a XLR (male) to 4.4 (female) adapter (only i don’t even need it now that I’ve gotten rid of the thx 788 LOL).
Can you please take a pic of how the 2.5mm jack connects in the Aiva? And how long did you wait?
Also have cables from Hart for Sendy’s. Here they are. My last order took a couple of weeks because of the holiday season.
Damn those look nice, I ordered all black with a 1/4" on the end. Super excited
Getting ready to put in a custom order once I get a quote. Are these pretty flexible below the y split? Seem to be.
