Custom cable gallery

Didn’t send him any MMCX cables, maybe in the next batch of stuff that goes his way (Got some new things coming up, multi-kit 2 etc.). Gotta get caught up with orders first, and that is increasingly daunting, haha.

Rubbish…they’re fine :+1:

You look like you have really strong ears. Lol.

But they actually do look pretty comfortable. I think I would consider getting 2 pin connectors for the OH10’s to help support the weight of those IEMs.

Finally got my set of cables from @brux over at heart audio cables last week, and they are awesome!

really good quality, I especially like how soft and flexible they are, they are also fairly lightweight compared to something like my periapt cables. The mmcx cable coupled with over ear IEMs work perfectly. no discomfort and light and soft enough not to hurt my ears. Would really be interested in a 2pin cable for my other IEMs now.

What are you doing on here? You don’t have time to mess around on these forums. Get back to work!

J/K you know where everyone lives.

I left my Tapes at work so I’ll show the mmcx cable with the MH755.

Well, here’s the cables I have.
HC-4 (3-pin miniXLR female) from Hart Audio Cables Pre-Production
HC-7 (dual 2.5mm mono balanced from Hart Audio Cables First round production (still waiting for one in gray)
A 3" and 1’ lengths IC-2 (3.5mm single ended) from Hart Audio Cables 3" first round, 1’ pre-production
And a 3.5mm single ended to 3-pin miniXLR female cable from Mimic cables in the Red Carbon MDPC sleeving, Furutech connectors, and OCC silver… I definately spent WAY too much on my first custom sleeved cable.

But you are getting cables that will last (hopefully). That’s not a bad thing whatsoever lol

I think I spent ~$150 on the Mimic cable… Not my proudest moment.

I have 2 questions.

  1. Can anyone compare the microphonics of hartaudio vs pariapt?
  2. @brux can you get a burgundy color like the cups of the TR-X00 PH and Fostex connectors?

You’re not going to hear a difference. When gearing up for production, @brux was using either Canare L-4E6S or Mogami W2799 for the wire, leaning in preference towards the latter. On the split cables, he’s using 7 strand 550 paracord before the split and 3 strand 325 paracord after.

I think we could get close? Available Colors before the split. Available colors after the split

@BluJay614 So no less microphonics? Thanks for the info.

@brux damn, spoil me for choice why don’t you. The burgundy color listed might be about right (maybe even the burgundy with gold if I’m feeling fancy). They only question I have now is would it be possible to get the cable after the split without any Paracord (like raw copper)? Also thank you for the help.

Just got my customized obravo cupid cable in from vikingweave cables.

Took a silver yinyoo cable and had him add the obravo mmcx connectors and terminate in a right angle 4.4.

Hi there, may I ask you if you:

1.) Do you ship your cables to Germany?

2.) For your basic set with all connections, headphone-specific cables with various plugs can be converted?
For example: Sennheiser HD800S, Dan Clark Audio AEON 2, Beyerdynamic and more.

Unfortunately I cannot find all the information about these questions on your website, maybe I’m just to blind to find it;
But I can still hear quite well, that’s why I’m interested in headphones :grinning:
