I wonder how many scams exist on ebay. Does ebay go after these scamers?
They will make the buyer well again but they don’t do the best job of keeping the scammers out in the first place, but a little common sense goes a long way when dealing with eBay lol

Hi I’m needing some advice about tube amps. I have a darkvoice and really like it with hd600 and t1. I’m considering buy a Schiit Valhalla 2 and was wondering, in y’all’s opinion,would that be a upgrade,downgrade or side grade? And please if you could explain.
That would be a slight upgrade but imo mostly a side grade. It’s a sold otl, but imo they have fairly similar technicalities, but the Valhalla has a bit more refinement and also their amp has a bit lower impedance so it works with more headphones well
It really depends on the sound you are trying to go for, that would depend on which tube amp makes sense for you
Ok thank you! I bought the rnhp on your opinion and I think it’s solid. What really surprised me with it was the argons… I was not expecting it to do so well. I know this has probably been asked a million times but I have the Elex, I actually text you about them I was having trouble with the treble, would the clear be that much of a upgrade in your opinion? I guess I’ve been bit by the upgrade gear bug smh.
What issues are you having with the treble on the elex? And what are your thoughts on the elex?
The treble was so piercing I couldn’t listen to them. I contacted drop and were really cool about. They were going to exchange or refund but I just let them play nonstop for four days and honestly i wasn’t a big believer in break in but something happened maybe my hearing adjusted to them… IDK but now I love them. There probably my favorite headphones now.

. There is both mental and physical burn in but mostly mental burn in lol. So the clear would be an upgrade in technicalities but a slight change in the signature to neutral. Also they scale way more, so you would eventually want to get into the 1k range for an amp to take full advantage of them, that being said the rnhp will drive them nicely for the time being
Ok 2 more questions what amp would you suggest for the clear and back to tube amps what would you suggest as a upgrade for the darkvoice around the $500 mark?
So for the clear, look for a used violectric v280 or v281 works very very well for the clear, super nice pairing, prevents harshness, does a great job recreating space, and also adds a bit of body to the clears while maintaining pretty neutral
For the tube amp, if you wanted a more neutral tube amp, the hagerman tuba is real solid, and if you wanted something warmer but still pretty refined, the Feliks echo or cayin ha-1a mk2 is great. If you wanted something warm, thick, and energetic, the bottlehead crack with speedball is hard to beat imo
