Think I do like the Tung Sol Pre amp tube the most. But the CBS tube has a very nice ‘tubey’ sound to it too. RCA tube is the worse, IMO. I have Sovtek 6AS7G from Tube Depot and Tung Sol 7236 from Ebay on the way to see how they pair as well.

It’s a new ebay scam tactic where they have you open a ticket on the 2nd level scam instead of the initial scam, so it makes it so you can’t open a ticket on the initial scam

If you can, just call them whey they are open to talk to a person. That’s what I ended up doing. Couldn’t figure out what kind of ticket to open… but they were extremely helpful when I spoke to them, took only a few minutes to deal with.

I called eBay to report the fradulent seller and all the call center fmguy told me to do was wait u til I got the package and then open a case.

Did you get your refund? I went the minimal interaction route and just clicked request refund button with reason: item not received. Got it now after requesting it on Friday.
If the seller just blinged out a real amp or headphones with all his gemstones and re-purposed those handbags as leather headphone cases, he probably could have made a killing a legitimate way.
I haven’t had time to open it, but I can’t wait to see how they got such a heavy and bulky amp inside that little envelope.

Yeah, at this point the seller has probably lost all of their credibility, which probably speeds up the “decision” process for Ebay. Lol
