No not really. It’s different but Sennheiser kinda angered some fans by making the 660 the way they did. They removed some of the mid-range detail and timbre, changed the presentation, and also tuned it with a more fun signature, there really isn’t a direct upgrade to the 600 or 650
Nighthawk gang shall continue to rise…
I mean for me even if I don’t enjoy something initially, I will give it as much time as I can before I make a decision. Personally to really get the feel for a headphone overall you want at least a couple days of listening imo
So overall I’m getting…
- We’d all have different list
- Most of us can respect and understand others list even if it isn’t ours.
- One of the best things about this hobby is choice.
Sounds About right
Yeah sounds about right
No cause I think top lists are pointless to begin with
Hey, I dislike you all evenly… lol
Jus kidding…
You guys rock!
Not better, just different, in a way that i like.
Others may not.
- but we can criticize another’s list if we think they are below par? right?
I almost found the 1More Tridents way too unique sounding at first but I got used to them after a while and then they were amazing. Same thing happened with the DT770 250 ohm, and the Koss KSC75. You really do have to give things a couple days at least and have patience, something that many don’t have these days lol.
oh soren. those are easy to like headphones. they are no NDH20 lol
I think certain headphones would be highly debatable. I don’t think a respectful debate is a bad thing.
Keyword respectful.
And understand the list is opinion
Zeos loved the NDH20. He always gives his headphones many, many days, sometimes weeks before reviewing. Not everyone likes the same thing either. Many find the NDH20 to be amazing. It really does come down to personal preference quite a bit, but I can understand that it might be hard to try to give something more time if the initial reaction is a big NO.
Nighthawk Nighthawk!
I dont think i was disrespectful was i? if so im sorry to DMS. But his list. ugh
His list is his opinion, and entirely fine. Those are all great headphones subjectively, and since this hobby is so subjective, even in the beginning to say these certain headphones are THE BEST UNDER 500 DOLLARS is really subjective. What sound do you like? What are your applications? Where will you be using them? All of these factors can help you choose something.
If you have an opinion, then violently!
Your list only has 3 points on it and not 5…
wow, you did some work there music lover. kudos
