Wow! . Celebrity for sure:blush:
Classic mistake
Haha yeah, ordered from amazon so shouldnt take too long…
Did you get the rechargeable ones?
Yes I did, since this flash has a usb port so I assume non-rechargable ones wouldnt work with it. (also got a charger for the batteries.)
Big W. Have fun, buddy!
Got my batteries!
I do need to order a tripod for the flash (although I can hold it in my hand in the meantime I guess), what kinda mount is this called?
I have an extra tripod like this.
But clearly it wont fit.
Taken with the 40mm macro from TTartisan with the flash mounted on top of the A6100 in TTL mode at 24mm focal length setting, angled around 60 degrees so not directly at the subjects. Only some ceiling lights on so just average lighting.
Im pretty surprised and now i wonder if having external LED lights would help? Also not sure about the focal length setting on the flash, I assume that is either the distance to the subject or it should match the lens focal length?
Also tried taking some pics without any other lights on in a somewhat dark room but the pics just ends up bright af.
Still waiting for my diffusers.
look for hotshoemount adapter
lol its called coldshoe not hotshoe
bingo!
I also got that same tiny tripod and find it to be too flimsy
If you are ever looking for an alternative i just received this one and can fully recommend it

perfect you won´t regret it the build quality is so solid for the price, really sturdy and a joy to use compared to that other crap thingy
@domq422 got my diffusers.
Not sure which pic is better, first is with kitlens at 29mm, F 4.5, 1/40 SS and ISO 100.
Second with macro 40mm at F: 2.8 (or 3.5), 1/100 (much heavier than kitlens made it much harder to keep still at the same) SS and ISO 100
2 for me
Much sharper and worth the weight
IMO i prefer the first one a bit more since i prefer the slightly darker background (check the flowers closest to the sword) making the contrast look better to me with the sword. I do admit I dont really like the handle though, its too dark on the first pic.
As for the weight…honestly I much prefer the kitlens over this 4x heavier macro lens for anything that isnt closeup macro shots. The heavier weight makes it much harder to keep still and makes it harder to use the manual focus. (in these pics I held the camera pretty much above the table so that was a big issue with the macro lens.)
I was only judging by sharpness.
First pic looks better Overall but that’s due to different light Situation/angle
