But with the rise of boom-mic cables for IEMs and especially the new Gramr Pro from kinera I am again thinking of a small kit that I could WFH and bring to the office. Have anyone tested any good soundcards/dongles with mic inputs?

Fosi Audio K5 Pro is not really a dongle but only requires one cable (USB powered) and might be suitable for WFH and even has some tone control.
Personally I only own the Sharkoon Mobile DAC which also happens to have 3 EQ modes (only use it for Fiio FF1 on the PC though)
