That is up to you.
You can decide for yourself what your experiences are in this regard.
Everyone has a different opinion anyway.
I used the optical port on the Ps 4 Pro back then and everything was fine.
Just like the USB port connected to the PC, everything was fine there too.
If you want to connect a cd player via the optical port, thatās fine too.
Just like optically with the PC sound card if that should be supported.
I would take the C version so that you have peace of mind and can use it as you like.
The 50ā¬ more are okay, if you consider that such an Ify Defender costs 80-90ā¬.
Itās also out of stock in HiFi Berlin and as I understand discontinued and seems to be on pre order on Linsoul with a shipping estimate of 3-4 weeks.
Ohman,
Really annoying.
Itās the chip shortage crisis, unfortunately.
This one supposedly still has one in stock.
But you have to check beforehand that you donāt get a Us Cersion if you live in Europe because of the 230volt output.
If itās set to 120 volts, it goes straight up before youāve heard it.
But you can ask
It is I had already placed an order, but they reached out to me today and said that itās out of stock. It has a C13 plug and a 110V or 230V switch on the back, so it shouldnāt be a biggie. I will write to Linsoul about the SDA-2C tomorrow. But Iām looking at alternatives for the time being, so far the closest is SMSL M300 MKII with Singxer SA-1?
Edit: Unfortunately Kitsune HiFi only ships to US/Canada
So the closest amp would be the Questyle cma 400i, which is similar to the singxer but has no filter but gain options on the bottom.
But itās also hard to find.
Otherwise there would be the Topping D30Pro
which has 4 Cirrus Logic chips and would not be wrong with the Singer Sa 1.
I was supposed to write my opinions a few months ago. So here I goā¦
Source: Questyle CMA400i
Fit and Finish: Very nice, very comfortable, almost donāt feel them on my head. Ears donāt sweat if you listen to them for a long period of time, you almost donāt feel them on your head. Wore them while on a 8+ hour gaming session without any problems
Music:
Works well with EDM and rap, I usually listen to techno, trance and house. They are very fun, you almost feel like you are in a club. The only negative I could find is that they are a bit restricted in the bass department, but I suspect that itās more of a source problem, because it sounds like the headphones want to go there, but the amp doesnāt allow it, if that makes any sense, and also some tracks are perfect, others need that little push.
Instrumental is a different story. They struggle a bit when there are too many elements in a track at once. Also they are not very forgiving if the master is shit, for example Grimes - Flesh without Blood is unlistenable, because itās very peaky, same with all of the Queens of the Stone Age albums I listened too. Separation is very good, you can almost pick a certain element in a track, only listen to that and find new things that you didnāt pick up before. I picked up like little echoes and reverb I havenāt picked up before. Same with staging, like I said you feel like you are in a club or alone in a studio with the band.
Gaming:
This is where I use them most of the time. These are so good, that I can almost pin point a enemy, based on sound, in Tarkov.
Now I want to know how DCA closed backs sound like, already eying Aeon Noirs
