Exciting but accurate IEM under 1000$

Hello Guys,

so finally i got an “new” IEM at home.
I bought a used CA Dorado 2020 in really good condition for half price on EBay.
It was a spontaneous purchase and i after 48h i got used to sound of these.
I had to switch to Spinfit Tips because the V-Shap with the Final Tips was a bit to much for me.
Now i listen across my libary and really like it.

Bass realy good quality + quantity , good stageing and separattion and (i don’t know how to discribe) not an super edgy sound!!

But after complainig here about the import duty + tax i couldn’t help myself and i orderd a pair Moondrop Variations in tje 11.11 sales on hifigo !

I hope they arrive next week so i can compare both!

I have the OG Zen and the FD7s, imo the 7s are the better set. Less top end roll off and more cohesive tuning over all, but still a bit mid/vocal forward and lots of energy. Great set.

The thing that drew me to the Zen was slam. How do the fd7 compare on that front?

I really like the look of fiios hole FD Line! especially the FD7!

Hey sorry for the radio silence

The slam is great, I A/B’d them pretty closely when I first got the FDs and wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. It’s been a minute though, i’ll go back and revisit as soon as I can.
