When I didnât have the BTR5, it didnât bother me. But everything sounds much better with the DAC. Unfortunately, it also amplifies the annoying sibilance.
I think i really need a different set of headphones. Since I am very satisfied with the Fiio DAC, it will probably be the FH3.
WellâŠyou could just eq down that 7k peak. Its free

Eq on mobile is tough, treble and mids tuning are difficult to fix due to wide bands etc. But bass is easy to fix due to this same fact.

Using neutron player, you have access to a great PEQ.
Ahh, but then I need a separate dac, because the great dac in my phone does not work with non lg players etc lol. So no easy solution lol at least for me unless I use my es100. Back on topic though, Iâm hyped to try these!

Neutron player works with the quad dac in the LG series.
Iâve already tried to correct the sibilance with the EQ of the Fiio and the USB Audio Player Pro app. Neither worked. I think in my case a new in-ear is better.

Although if you didnt have that graph before, trying eq one last time could save you some money.

Damn you all lol, all the stuff on here has gotten me too curious, ordered a pair, might as well see what the hype is about lol. Iâm not super experienced in the more budget range of iems so I guess thatâs another way I can justify this for myself lol. Very curious to see how much I end up liking them
Also just wondering, has anyone had any nice mmcx mic cables? The main reason I keep the guiderays around is because they are comfy work well enough and have a mic, so if I end up liking the fh3 I might trade those out, but I would need a mic cable. Typically the ones I see are pretty mediocre or donât work well

Ended up buying a mmcx UE cable with a mic, curious to see if itâs better than some of the cheaper cables Iâve tried on amazon that have mics

Awesome! I canât wait to hear your opinions. I donât have many expensive IEMs (FH7 is my most expensive) so it would be great to hear your opinions and how more expensive IEMs compare to our measly 130 dollar favorite.
I really would like to hear someone compare the Andromeda to the FH3 or FH7. Ohmboy has me thinking theyâll be next IEM purchase.

Itâs got a lot to live up to compared to my other iems lol, but Iâm hoping I like it, seems really nice. I did like the fh7 when I demoed it, and if this can get real close it would be pretty sweet tbh. Although it might take a few weeks to get to me unfortunately since buying from amazon and itâs supposed to get here around the 30th. But I have a metal magic thummim with a plussound x6 palladium hybrid cable coming tomorrow so I should be distracted until then lol
