Iām just mad that UAPP still doesnāt work, because itās still not supported on android 7
Uapp does work and the rest of the in app purchases pEQ,ETC.
Ah did they update it to work? Whenever I try to grab it from the play store it doesnāt work because it wonāt work with Android 7. I did install an apk and that did work kinda
Itās been working for me since I installed the play store itās been a couple of months,no apk either.
Updating now then, perhaps itās because I had flashed the first package release before it showed up in the update channel, hopefully this fixes it, thanks for the info
Thanks for the heads up! It now works after a update through the system
PSA the link mentioned in this post is no longer needed and is outdated, just use the fiio updater, I think this update version was before it was pushed to devices and didnāt include full functionality (also usb audio player pro was updated to support the fiio)
No problem Iām glad the update worked for you just a heads up any synchronization on the app takes some time ,for example if you buy the PEQ youāll have to manually update the app by going to the play store and update the app, atleast thatās how dealt with my issue.
Just grabbed one of these last week! Loving everything about it except for one issue. More of a curiosity thing than anything. Has anybody had trouble with the All to DSD function. When I toggle it on, the Hiss comes in pretty strongly. Has anybody else had this problem with IEMs?
The all to dsd function is rather noisy from my experience
Thanks @M0Nā¦ Probably going to forego that feature altogether. Outside of that, Iām loving this thing!
Random question. How does this scale with the higher quality IEMs. I really enjoy the androās but looking forward, Iām wondering how it will perform with other IEMs (possibly Z1 IER)ā¦ I dont know how long I can fight the bug lol
Hmmm, so it will work reasonably well, but imo when you get into ier z1r range you really want a bit better amp, something around like the cayin n6ii with e02 or other modules, or like a nice portable dac/amp
Thatās what I was afraid ofā¦ I still have a mojo/poly that I think could do the job. But DAPās portability and functionality are so much more convenient.
Hi guys,
Iāve seen a lot of posts here about the M11, but I didnāt find anything related to the USB DAC/BT DAC capabilites of this player. I am currently having a M9 that has a horrific lag while used as an USB DAC and I really canāt play anything from my PC with this lag.
The users are complaining since Oct 2018 on the FiiO Forum and they just keep on delaying this fix. I am asking you if you encountered something similar for the M11 because at 450$, a device that praises itself that can revolutionise your DAC experience ā¦ a lag like that, an issue like that is unforgivable. Itās unforgivable even for the M9, honestly. I am looking forward for your responses as I need a complete solution, a solution that they (Fiio) praise themselves that it is complete: DAP/DAC. I need it at the office, at home and on the go.
Thank you in advance.
I have no issues with my M11 in USB form with WIndows10. Youtube/Twitch, voice conference calls, lite gaming (non-FPS games) and of course music (Foobar2000, Spotify). The only issue I seem to have is I have one or two FLAC files that the M11 does not seem to like. Have not really researched what is going on there. I have also used the M11 as a BT transmitter.
I have tried using the M11 as a Bluetooth receiver once or twice. I have not tried since the latest M11 updates. Trying to watch Youtube videos has a lot of lag between the video and sound via BT. Same results (audio lag) with my desktop and laptop with Win10 on both. I have no issues via USB and no other changes. My bluetooth headphones do not suffer from the audio lag.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for your response. It is helpful and what is worrying and really troublesome is that particular āa lot of lagā when using it as a Wireless BT DAC (which is also a thing that FiiO is really bragging about that they do really well).
For the 450$ price that āa lot of lagā is somehow and somewhat unnacceptable. I mean, Iām buying this or at least I want to buy this for the complete solution that it provides, mostly for the DAC capabilities that should work flawlessly, because for the sole purpose as a playerā¦ is seriously overpriced imho.
I really donāt want to pay 450$ for a product that does just half the job itās made to do.
Sure, a little lag is to be expected with bluetooth, but a lot of lag, (and when I say a lot ā¦ I mean that one second that makes the video experience unnacceptable) is really ā¦ really bad.
Thank you again for your reponse and I am looking forward for more opinions and feedback about this issue, guys.
Very helpful thread for those who want to buy Fiio M11, Usually I Listen to Music when I workout, And for that, I use Fiio M11 High-Resolution Audio Player, It is one of the best Audio Player I had ever used, And its Bluetooth connectivity makes me easy to connect my wireless headset.
Any updates on rooting the M11? Would love to gain root access, although now that they have Google play, itās not as critical as it once was.
Any update would be appreciated.
Well, I mostly listen when I take shower, eat food, during makeovers but I am pretty proud about my music taste so I listen to them on the soundbar. lol
Has anyone used this DAP with over-ears like the Ether C Flows? I was looking to take my pair on the go, but I am not sure if this thing can power them.
I drive mi HD 560s I think the resistance is 120 ohm, it drives them pretty good at level 70/120.
