Every time I hear a sound demo of the OH10, it makes me want to buy it. Iām not sure how it translates in real life but it sounds like it has great low end, awesome space and great resolution. Seems like a fantastic option under $200.
It definitely is. Especially at $130 I hear people mentioning.
Thanks for the comparison with the OH10. Please, do a comparison between FHE and Olina. Not that I think to buy the Olina, but I am curious.
It has fantastic low end. The sub bass doesnāt hit as hard as fh3 tho. Itās more all across the range.
I always use this analogy, fh3 bass hit like a foam baseball bat, while oh10 bass is enveloping like thick blanket.
Itās alot, but spread out to avoid overwhelming.
The soundstage is wide, making musical feels airy. One of my complaint about OH10 is less forward vocal.
But, due to the airy nature, it feels less like the singer is behind a veil or curtain, and more like the singer stand a little further back on a large concert hall.
Itās a flaw, but quite an enjoyable one. Especially when the less forward vocals allow instruments to shine brighter and more prominent in songs (especially rock genre)
I agree. At 130$, unless that person is sensitive/dislike bass, itās an easy recommendation.
Definitely top 3, among the best.
Thatās why I love this hobby. Having multiple sets is almost a necessity in order to get a taste of different signatures!
I like these pretty well! I havenāt really found any flaws with them(like the aggressive treble on FH3), but Iām wondering āwhere is all that huge bass atā¦?ā. Certainly not hearing tons of bass, using SpinFits of EarFitLight 2 or whatever these are lol. They basically sound nice and balanced to me! Nice clarity and mids for sure. I donāt have FH3 anymore to compare, but Iām wondering if FH3 bass sounded moreā¦ DD-like. Tighter, more dense sounding. I think FH3 may sound a little wider, too, but I have no complaints with this(besides that brown terd of a stock cable).
