Well, perhaps go for some rp600m and see if you like them lol. I think they are a better value and can still output plenty of bass, but a floorstander is going to give a more full range sound
I would definitely only stick with the RP-, RF- or Heritage lines.
so are 4000 and 5000 totally not worth it? or just not as good
Just not as good, they aren’t super bad or anything. I think you should go for the 6000 or 8000 towers or the rp600m
cool thanks
i wonder if i’d even be able to tell the difference…
You would, it’s somewhat easy to hear
6000f seems really affordable used etc.
thanks for ur help as always. gotta save up
they have not had an rp sale in a while, so they are due for one as well.
cool thanks
basically between 600f and RP600M lol
but leaning towards floor for sure
i actually miss seeing his ads
also during my time i’ve come across what looks to be some awesome options for ~$500/pair (used and new)
Wharfedale - Crystal CR 4.3
JBL Stage A170-WD
ELAC Debut 2.0 F6.2
Elac Debut 2.0 F5.2
my favorite of all of these has to be the Crystal or the JBL
any thoughts?
The jbl are pretty solid, never heard the wharfedale, and the elacs are pretty good too
i wish there were more youtube reviews on floorstanding speakers. bookshelves certainly took over popularity.
Floorstanders and larger bookshelves used to be more popular, but with the decreasing amount of space people have, bookshelves have taken over. I personally have enough space for floorstanders but still use bookshelves with a sub
I guess your next house is going to be an abandoned warehouse then, good luck treating the entire building
i accept this challenge.
Naaaaaa just play louder so it cancels out the need of treating.
Hmmmmmmmmmm, didn’t think about that one, that right there is an audio life hack
