🔶 Focal Clear

They also match the RNHP quite nicely.

The Elex would match your topping though.

Edit. I see you switched to the tile legos. All mine were “eyeballs”

Lego eyeballs, or those stick on “googly eyes?”

My son has been asking me to buy him a bag of bulk googly eyes. He wants to place them on random objects at school.

I have a bunch of those for some reason.

But I’ll be departing the RNHP gang after this week, yet the Clears will still remain.

Just a reminder for folks, I’m going to be selling an essentially brand new pair of clears, and I’m going to wait a few days to see if anyone messages me about buying them before I post them to ebay.

Pretty good deal if anyone is interested.

That is a good deal.

I almost bought it, but I have my heart set on the black/red pro version.

For sure. If you have your heart set on that color scheme then it’s worth waiting for.

In cuisine they say “you eat with your eyes first.” Meaning the appearance of a dish influences the experience of eating. You could just as easily say that you listen with your eyes first. I love how my gear looks on my desk, and it sounds great!!

Do you have the pro clears? I forget which headphones you have.

You don’t keep a running tally of each member?.

Thanks for asking- currently an LCD-X, an Arya and a consumer type Clear that I received only last week. I still own an Elex, but it’s on eBay right now. Poor thing got displaced by it’s bigger, greyer brother Clear.

Here she is. If I owned an R2R DAC we could call this setup the M0N Stack.

The M0N-strosity?

Logged into my books. :+1:t4::laughing:

That’s right, I’ve seen this recently.

What do you think of the LCD-X compared to the Clear?

I really like it. The bass is unreal, like many say. Not the bass levels, but the pure un-muddled, sub-subass that seems to extend down to 1hz. But TBH I didn’t really love them until I EQ’d them using Sonarworks . That brought the treble up and more in line with some version of flat. It really opened them up and made them sparkle, while not diminishing that bass (DAT BASS) in any way.

I have to say that 've been listening to the Aryas lately, almost exclusively. Bit that doesn’t take anything away from my very positive opinion of the X’s.

Edit: I just saw that you were asking about a comparison to the Clears. That will take some thought, and I have to go read some bedtime stories to a very active 2nd grader. I’ll come back to this and give a more thought out comparison than Im able to right now!:grimacing:

Are you using the Audeze plug-in?

This is very good, btw. :+1::laughing:
