Yeah, it’s funny that it photographs much brighter than it actually is. It’s more of a Cardinal (think Stanford).

I have, in some instances it can be credited to the recording and on others it’s the Clear. Not as bad as before initial break-in.

For those who haven’t dived down the photography rabbit hole, the vast majority of cameras do not record accurate colour. The manufacturers deliberately exaggerate a certain aspect of colour called saturation because that’s what sells.

One of my primary uses of photoshop is to correct color rendering as best I can without adversely affecting the overall photo. I’ll add some embellishes as well, but I try and be as accurate as possible with color.

“You see that tv there? In the settings go make sure everything with color is just maxed out, I don’t care what it means, just make sure everything is as high as it can go. We can sell more tvs that way”

I’m generally an “accuracy freak”, that’s why I usually tend towards neutral/reference products.

I’ve got pretty good eyes (I do wear glasses) and ears, so I usually tend to notice things.

An example of visual acuity for me is DLP technology. My eyes see the separation of the color wheel and I can’t view DLP Images for too long or I get a headache.

Ah my eyesight is going to shit, but hearing is more than good lol. Not to mention that I really don’t watch anything either (legit just mainly listen to music)

When I bought my LG 55C9 last October I spent many days trying to calibrate it accurately. Display Oleds are supercool but also over saturated.

Not that bright, similar to the clear I would say (perhaps slightly brighter). The utopia does tube fairly well too (unlike the clear and elex imo)

The Clear is as bright as I could comfortably handle. I’m sure I’d be impressed by the Utopia (I definitely like it’s look), but I think it would be too fatiguing for me.
