What i never understood about the zombie or undead thing is, well, one time i fell asleep on my arm and when i got up it was dead. no feeling at all, couldnt move it. so how are zombies moving when theres no blood pumping through their bodies?
Easy answer: It’s fiction. 
Long answer: In nature there are cases of predators infecting preys with viruses, venoms, turning em into zombies. Yup. Still alive, but braindead, more or less.
Funny thing is, even cats do it. Toxoplasmosis.

Rabies does this. It can only infect a host through the blood so it causes the host to act agressively and attack other animals, wound them and pass on the disease.
Also, there is a fungus that attacks the brain of ants and causes them to act in a way that benefits the fungus and killls the ants. Literally Zombie Fungus Ants.
