Netherlands rap is surprisingly good, ive found some good German ones as well.

Marteria… aka marsimoto for example
former pro football (sorry soccer) player… later international male model… acting school in new York…
and has flow… is smart… has style and a voice… even self reflecting and funny about himself though has an amount of credibility
Top Performance on stage and very good produced albums
Now he is obviously Mainstream and so on
I talk here as I would be an expert on hip hop… no way
But I respect some and laugh about most hip hop people
prefer the #oldshool… grew up with eazy-e and Tupac
Though never was a real hip hop kid
French hip hop is real… more so than german… for example

Hip hop and r and b is one of those genres that tend to get some of the worst heat in the audiophile community.and it being one of my favorites I feel like encouraging those that resent it.

@anon54878099 Yeah that song with Katy Perry is from an album made by P.O.D. (another band with christians in it that gets labeled as ‘christian’ jjat because they talk about it in their music) called ‘Testify’. The album was 2006, the music video is 2009. Those were the days that most of my music that I like came from.

I think I appreciate the fringes of rap and hip hop more than the mainstream. Tyler, chance, mf doom. British hip hop etc. More interesting stuff out on the edge

Uhh an another one, not sure what the hell is the genre she is trying to convey here but one of the so called “singers” I don’t like is Yoko Ono. Like, wtf are you even doing?!
