sounds good, enog2 is great btwā¦did you get the Erish?
I bought the erish and enog Pr3ssAltF4 was selling today, so yes.

Still best color. Only three orange Geshelli boxes in the world so far
Mine arrived today, matte black with smoked black glass (because Iām boring like that).
Iām using it with a Soncoz LA-QXD1 and the HD 6XX and Iām loving it. Iām not a good judge of sound quality but I immediately noticed a lot more detail in the sound when compared to the FiiO K5 pro and Iām surprised at how loud it can get with only that tiny power supply.
Would this be worth getting if I already have a Jotunheim? Donāt necessarily have to have it, but Iām intrigued by the prospect of more detail. Also considering a Topping A90. My other amps are the Jotunheim, MLP and BHC. Thanks.
I have a Jot and Bifrost setup and have a enog pro 2 and Erish heading my wayā¦will report back.
Sweet. Thanks, bud,
Looking through the settings, I noticed a few changes. For the Topping D10 you get this,
while for the Enog2 Pro you have signal enhancements added and is automatically checked. Any idea what this does?
This was completely missing from the Topping D10 but shows up on the Enog.
Idk what any of this means, but changing this from LFX/GFX to SFX/MFX made the APO Equalizer with the Peace Interface suddenly work from the Mini S/PDIF-Out on my laptop to the Enog2 Pro S/PDIF-In so that I can equalize it. If anyone knows what I changed means, and why changing that made it work, feel free to explain it to me.
I believe the enable audio enhancements will allow you to use APO and other similar platforms. On the d10 it probably just does this automatically. Different dacs will do different things like that and have more settings and what not, especially when thereās more inputs available, at least in my experience. Some require drivers too that you must download on your computer. Not that eloquently put butā¦lol
How does this compare to the A90 amp? And should I wait until the SU-9 drops or the new geshilli dac drops? Iāve been waiting to buy something that can drive dt 880 before I buy. I have argonās ballenced so Iām making sure all my headphones are ballenced or modded ballenced.
Do you think this amp can drive the argons? Iām thinking it may be a bit underpowered.
Iām asking because of this post by GoldenOne
It seems it has plenty and from I read drives 600ohm impedence very well. So the argonās should have a good amount of power. Just the timber quality compared to the A90 is what seems to separate it. If the current source amplifier, means itās different than other voltage amps, which I donāt know what it really means btw, gives more power to the impedence it should work. But I havenāt asked Zeos.
I have the HD 6XX and the Erish drives them loud enough. High gain is just too loud so I think it should drive the Argonās
I asked before but have not heard back: Do you think this be different enough from a Jotunheim to justify buying one? I mostly use me Liquid Platinum and occasionally the Jot. My main headphones are Focal Clear & Elegia, Denon AH-D7200, Audeze LCD-2 rev 1 and HiFiMan Sundara. Thanks as always, yāall!
Do u feel that you are missing something with your amps and headphone combos? The erish is super clean. It could benefit some of your headphones. Not sure how much compared to the jot. You may actually benefit selling your jot and putting that and the erish price into something like the rnhp, lake people, or gilmore
I like to use my Jot as a pre-amp for my monitors and also prefer something balanced. I have also considered a Topping A90, but am usure how different or how much better it would be from the Erish. I would consider a used Violectric, Lake People or SPL if it was balanced. I would also have to wait to save up for one of those, though. I like the $200 price point of the Erish. I know the Jot is considered to be dark, so I was thinking the clean, detailed character of the Erish would make a good contrast. Mainly, I am curious how different the Erish and A90 are sonically. BTW, I should also mention that I also have an RME ADI-2 Pro [ w. balanced adapter], so again am unsure if I could rationalize getting the Erish if it is similar in sound with the ADI-2 Pro [however, the ADI-2 Pro is difficult to route DACs other than itās own into the hp amp section.] Wow. Sorry about the rambling nature of this postā¦
Personally imo I think you could get great benefit from looking into something like a violectric v280-281 or a gsx mini. I havenāt heard the erish yet, but I think taking a larger leap forward might yield more than you would think with the cans you have
