Getting out of hand?

Oooooh I see the Apple EarPods

Yeah, IMO, they are extremely convenient and inoffensive. Though they have not had any use since I got the KSC75s… of which I have 2 pairs now. lol

I’ve never been much for modding, have a hard time just changing the pads on my 1990’s and they’re built for it. So messing around with the Fostex didn’t appeal to me. However, changing the tips and chord on my BLON 03’s was easy. That may be another reason I’m enjoying switching to iems.

Love them KSC75!
Question: Do you find the ear hooks to be more loose on the Massdrop version than the regular silver? For some reason mine are pretty loose. Not really causing a problem, it just makes them feel flimsy.

now that you mention it, comparing them, maybe a bit, yeah. But it’s never been something I’ve really noticed before now.

What didnt you like about the he4xx?

Hated the sound as a whole. Liked it for the first few weeks and then just started to hate it, much like the NightOwl Carbons.

I tried everything. I used many different amps and gave it multiple mini vacations. It just sounded muffled and unclear. I could never get into a groove with it.

The HD58X’s were head and shoulders above it in sound. And I bought the Senns used for much less than I paid for the HE4XX’s.

Just an overall bad experience.

I found the 4xx much brighter than the sennheiser. and very clear. and i hate muffeled and unclear lol i think like me and the m570 you got a defective pair.

Possibly. But I loved them for a few weeks. I guess it was shiny new toy syndrome.

I usually fall deeply in love with every new purchase I make. That is why I always wait at least one to two months before I sell a product on.
Initial impressions can NOT be trusted, at least in my case.
