I had a chance to listen to the double magnet version and while I feel itās a fine headphone for the price I didnāt think it was better than my Arya and my new LSA HP-2 which was about $100 more ($729) sounds a lot better with more detail and much better tonality imo. I will admit that Iām a bit biased because I like the sound of dynamic drivers more than planars for the most part. I do think the way Resolve described them is pretty accurate but I can see why people like them they just arenāt what Iād be looking for.

Both the Arya and LSA hp2 are planar though???
The LSA HP1 are planar, the HP2 are horn loaded dynamics.
They are a version of the Kennerton Gjallarhorn GH50.

I understand he may be new but coming onto a forum and spreading misinformation and being belligerent isnāt the way to go about it. I personally donāt like to sugarcoat situations. What he did wasnāt cool. And people have tried to speak to him and heās responded in the same tone. Iām willing to help those in need of it. His responses didnāt give off that kind of vibe. Someone in my Discord said the D helped bass but ideally, what Linsoul sends me is identical to what customers recieve butā¦the buy from the maker so it is not in their control and may not have known until delivery. Bulk of pre order money is payed up front in China.

GL2k because it needs no mods. You will have to get into D.I.Y to maximize the Hifiman

Zeos getting so excited by the GL2000 caused a lot of hand wringing and discussion about whether to go after Zeos or just trash the GL.
The headphones are being used as a sword to chop at Zeos. I am very disappointed and have begun separating myself from those individuals , some of whoām are my friends.
Youāre recent video about Harman is brilliant but it appears you are just getting in the mud. Resolve canāt stand you. It is no benefit to your audience to waste time. He also has a long standing issue with Zeos. I have asked my friends to stop the toxic personal attacks so maybe you should leave it alone so people can enjoy the headphones.

Just a tad bit of bass is added using another set of hifiman pads that are pleather. I have ordered another set of plusher angled pads that seem to lift bass and give it a near perfect balance for me

Is it more bass now than the gl2000? Which one would u say has the better detail retrieval and which one is more smooth? Thanks for your time

I think GL2k is a detail beast so more than Hifiman. Hifiman is my tonal sweet spot over sets like FOCAL Utopia and other pricey gear. So I am putting in work.

I like the sound from the D Pads but its just the fit that annoys me. They donāt really compress and because of the material make more audible noise when I turn my head. I keep switching them. lol
Mine should arrive in a few days! I guess I can easily drive them with my Fiio Q5S Type c right? I also wonder what for example (if any) would be the difference between a Q5s or the Dethonray that Z thought was great for it. I mean theyāre both portable amp/dacs, q5s has bluetooth which comes in very handy (connects 2 devices and switches seamlessly) but the Dethonray is double the price. More power?
Anybody think there is a lot of difference between such devices? Iām pretty new here.
Also I like good bass, but not only a basshead. I currently listen to my Sundaras on the Q5s on high gain + bass boost. I feel they respond very well to it and on top you can EQ with the Fiio control app which I find to be dope.
