Itās so strange to put a face to the posts. When you go and read ASR reviews itās like theyāre coming from some AI or machine that just evaluates graphs and compares them to other graphsā¦but this isā¦a real person. I wish him all the best, but hope this doesnāt turn into the number cult the forum seems to be.

Been absalutely loving this guy recently
Seems incredibly genuine, I like his humor over all, and the videos have good production quality while also having fantastic audio for listening only. First guy (besides z) to review higher end gear that isnāt just super damn dry imo.
Soā¦ a slideshow of graphs with lots of technical wording.

As many people have been saying been absolutely loving CheapAudioMans reviews. Love the presentation how he talks about how it sounds and the personality too its not too much but he defo makes it engaging. Personally I dont wanna hear anything about all these graphs and stuff I just wanna hear a joke get me engaged tell it how he hears it and let me enjoy. Not had a video I havnt enjoyed.
The colab with zeos was hilarious too

Haha yes defo agree haha. I dunno why but as soon as I watched him for the first time I was like YES, love it.
He was taking the format from Between Two Ferns but I found it enjoyable.
watching amirmās reviews makes me realize that not only is he cocky and annoying
he is also insanely boringā¦
its like if ben shapiro was talking about miniscule analytical differences that dont impact a sound

The emphasis and delivery of the ASR forum made it VERY surprising to see the YT platform launch.

Some people are not cut out for the silverscreen. But is the content useful ? If it is i give reviewers a pass.
Itās been discussed at length on other parts of this forum but the general issues with Amir is that his methodology is flawed and his equipment is improperly set up so I tend to question the veracity of his content tbh.

Found out about that website through the marantz AVR āmusicalā sound debate.
He aso refuses to post the same measurements for every device. Anyone with even a HS background in literally just any form of science knows thats a massive issue. How TF can you compare shit if you dont measure the same things the same way every time?

Agreedā¦music is an art not a scienceā¦replaying music via any audio device is science trying to replicate art.
Point 1 Art/music/beauty are in the eye of the beholder.
Point 2 Replication of either of the above are still in the eye/ear of the beholder and have no tangible measurements.
