I could absolutely be wrong, but I think you are reading too far into this. I don’t think that was his intention when he asked about the card requirement. I think he was genuinely just looking to see if it was something that others that were interested in meeting up would want to discuss.

Because there are people that is is an issue for, and if you don’t bring it up to get it sorted out it just creates headaches. For what it’s worth, I agree with you on what will happen if someone ever asks to see my papers, but like it or not, as things stand right now it’s a subject that has to discussed when you are talking about something like this.

So if covid is a concern for those individuals then they should continue to quarantine, wear masks, get vaccinated, etc.
It’s virtue signaling to ask to have everyone vaccinated at the meet. By me not being vaccinated I’m not raising the risk for others.
Never have I seen so many care about what others do with their health.
I don’t care what people eat or drink. I don’t care what medicine people take or don’t. I don’t care what drugs people use.
This is just silly virtue signaling to make people who have very little to feel proud about feel some sense of meaning.

This is simply not true, vaccines are not 100% effective.
If a vaccine (any vaccine) is say 90% effective then a person being vaccinated reduces their chance of infection by 90% if the people they are around are also vaccinated that reduces your chance of infection by closer to 99%.
If whatever group decides to get together they can dictate whatever terms they want, if it doesn’t contravene local laws, they could require you to wear a pink shirt to attend.
It’s just way easier to have these discussions as a part of planning.
If you want to organize it, you can dictate that it’s not a requirement, and people can chose to attend based on that information.

Choosing a good location isn’t easy. Why don’t you add a multi selection poll with city locations asking whether users would seriously consider going there for a meetup.

It’s not that I don’t get where you’re coming from, but this was a thread made to gauge interest and talk about when/where/how/etc. Right now, whether you agree with it or not, the covid related issues are going to be a discussion point. That’s just the way it is. But you are wholesale trying to disregard that and are making it seem like its already been decided that any meet-up would have a vaccination requirement, and given that this thread was just made three hours ago, I’m pretty sure that’s not true.

The vaccine helps your symptoms, doesn’t completely prevent it. So again, by me not getting vaccinated it doesn’t hurt your situation.
You’d believe anything the government told you. If Fauci said to wear women’s underwear 90% of you’d be online shopping at Victorias secret asap.
And if a non vaccinated person shows up you gonna be part of that security detail? Lmao love to see this.

Actually it’s pretty clear you care a lot about what other people may choose to do with their time and how they may choose to conduct themselves while they do it.
