No the battery doesnāt last quite as long as the M300 but it has more power so tradeoffs there Iād guess dependent on use case.
Funny you mentioned the M300s size because thatās an issue for me as well with it, its a pain to use search or anything needing the keyboard but once it is setup you donāt need to fiddle with that much. I do like it because it slips in a shirt or jacket pocket nicely and is good for taking on walks etc.

honestly if the battery was close Iād have bought one already but itās been like 4 days and I havenāt charged my M300 lol and itās still like (lol itās dead) I have been using it more than usual though
itās like ever so slightly too small for me, every now and then when I try to type for a song outside of my usual playlists my big ass thumbs make it an arduous task wack keyboards lol, I absolutely agree I bring it with me everywhere on walks. Itās honestly such a cool product, to think I never wouldāve owned one if Apple didnāt remove the headphone jacks and made everyone follow suit lmao

Weāll need to check in with @11_Clouds then to see what battery life is like on the R4 Evan - Hiby supposedly did some reengineering on Evangelion to help reduce heat from the amp and also improve battery life.

oh man arenāt those limited editions though so Iād have to race out and buy em lol, Iāll have to wait it out then since I got my eyes on buying Shock and Cadenza 4 at some point

Hey all, new Hiby R4 owner here having a some trouble with Bluetooth configuration right out of the box
The problem is that the R4 doesnāt āseeā my Sony speaker even when it is in pairing mode. I tested connecting it to another device (my desktop), which worked fine - I am wondering if it is a pairing issue between different Bluetooth versionsā¦ I see that the Hiby R4 spec is running BT 5.0, my Sony Bluetooth speaker is a new gen (BT 5.3), however it should be backwards compatible.
I tried unpairing other devices, and turned off other Bluetooth devices to limit noise, but to no avail - any ideas or suggestions?

I know my R6 has a setting somewhere of what you want it to do over BT (recieve transmit etc) that could be an issue
Late reply but i had the Same āissueā with R6III lately
The volume gets locked when no headphone is plugged inā¦as soon as you plug something in it will work again
Maybe this was the case for you too?

Been fine since it was literally the update, it switched on the SPDIF and USB digital volume locks, once turned off all good

I have a R4 and a Moondrop May. When I plugged in in the Hiby Iām loosing control of the level of volumeā¦ Any has the same issue? How did you resolve that question? Iām noob in Androidā¦ If you can give a ste-by-step I really appreciatteā¦ Thanks!
I think know what that is. In the settings menu of the R4, it has a USB/digital volume control lock that you can toggle on/off. When on, it defaults to 100 % when thereās no headphones plugged into either the balanced or single ended ports.
Love my R4. Bought one, loved it, instantly wanted more, sold it, bought an M23 (allegedly same sound signature but just better; more powerful, more resolving, etc.) but it didnāt sound as good. Bought another R4, A/Bād them for a few days and the R4 just sounded more real, full, ācorrectā to me.
I did most of my testing with my neutral and Harmon headphones/IEMs.
R4 pairs super well with SuperMix 4, EM10 and HD560s.

guys, I have a question, I have the HIBY R4, with a 1TB micro sd card, Im trying to download a video from the browser, and it wont let me any idea why?
Load up Chrome. The default browser is pretty limited.

A question if i may? What am i doing wrong in terms of volume loudness?
Tried the R4 with numerous bluetoith ear buds like the B&O EX and EQ plus the sennheuser mimentum 4 etc and the volume is very low?
My samsung galaxy S24 has much more power.
When i use the blutooth sennheiser. Momentum 4 over ear headphones the volume levels are fine. Its just the blutooth IEM that need 100 on the volume level.
Any idea what i can do to rectify this

Im considering sending it back as its so under powered 4 pairs of top quality blutooth IEM and all reach 100 on the volume. Same with all family members
