Perhaps switch off a thx? Seriously that is a bright and harsher analytical amp, if you are bothered by the treble, I would urge you to look for a different amp
The easiest treble filter you can do is toilet paper. if that doesnât work, then you may want to try cotton disc makeup remover pad. I used that to filter my Beyerdynamic T5P and it worked wonders.
Itâs only one interconnect, and using one isnât really different than using a slightly longer wire. I think theyâd have to be using truly awful quality metal to cause noise (or microphonics) from one connection. And the interconnect would always be stationary so itâs not like youâd get stability issues like MMCX.
I was hesitant when I first heard the interconnect angle, because my brain still thinks in 3.5 and 1/4" headphone jacks first and foremost. When I looked and saw all the balanced outputs I wasnât using, Hartâs interconnect system makes a lot of sense
Like @Onaha said, Arya is gonna change with burnin (100-150h for full effect in my experience) and youâll also adjust to them. So give them a bit of time
Yes that was my experience as well, they shape up after burn in. I think @Antpage2 said he got his used so I somewhat assumed there were ample hours on there, but I am not sure
I didnât listen a ton to the Aryas, but I didnât think they were especially bright. I thought the DT1990s were painful though, didnât you also buy those recently? Iâd be curious to see how you thought they compared
The guys i bought them from said he had 30 hours on them. so theres some more burn in that can be done lol
Nope, it was a pricing error on their website and they refunded me the money
Yeah i heard it does have some treble on it from other reviews. not as bad as the schiit magni 3 though. but yeah im pretty sure im gonna get the RNHP. unless theres something better out there for the price
Yeah they look nice, and its the only cable out there thats long enough and inexpensive. I think iâm gonna buy one. but the cable on my hifiman has 2 black bands on the plug, and harts only has one. does that mean anything?
If you want it to terminate to a normal XLR just ask James. Im waiting for my Aiva cable and it ends in a normal 1/4 jack.
Sound like TS vs TRS to me
I cant seem to find any pads for these. anyone know of any?
Stock pads or aftermarket? The only ones I am aware of are Dekoni.
i didnt find any at dekoni for my headphones. its got the big egg shaped cups. I was looking for something that might bring the treble down
Oh ok, gotcha. I know of a few that have bought Brainwavz XL pads and shaped them to the ring that hifiman uses to clip on their pads.
Itâs sounding to me like itâs a good thing you never ended up picking up a Stax
Well the Elex and the Ebony were big lessons for me. Showed me how important other areaâs of sound were. Midrange, bass and other technicalities. And i was discouraged by how many people thought the L700 was lacking. I still love detailed analytical headphones. But i want the other features too. I want a headphone that combines everything and sounds great.
