I had similar issues with another store on ali, but they messaged me right away and suggested to close my order based on āother reasonsā or pay additional shipping fees, because shipping suddenly became more expensive for them. What I found curious is that they had lower shipment fees on that listing than their competitors. I guess some ali shops just canāt update shipment costs fast enough. No excuse for that electricxiaomi storeās behavior obviously

Well itās not cancelled yet - status is shown as āfrozenā but still showing a tracking number. They say it is with some local carrier and they are waiting for it to be returned. Aliexpress gave me the same crap as it shows a tracking number. Iāll give it a few more days before taking up with Aliexpress again.
I donāt expect this to be sorted out in a hurryā¦Cāest La Vie

For anyone who ordered via electricxiaomi or GZZB on AliExpress and have a cancelled tracking number itās most probably being transfered to another carrier as mine did.
Ask the store for the updated tracking number, mine got transferred to 4PX.
The seller said there was an issue with the magnetic scanning so it was transfered to āspecial goods lineā, hopefully this arrives a little faster than the original shipping method.
Getting plenty of updates with the new tracking method.
The original tracking numbers cancellation time/date and new tracking creation time/date is the same so the tracking looks legit.
I managed to get mine for USD$376 but had to pay 10% import tax, Australia >=(
Total was USD$419 delivered.

BTW, can any of you guys tell me if this cable can be modded to balanced (3.5mm input to 4-pin XLR)?
I believe this is the same cable that comes with the He-4XX. Iām fine with it and I donāt particularly hate it.
Anyone try and see if it has 3 conductors down the Y-split or 4?
I know if itās 3 then itās pointless.
But I donāt want to ruin it to check out, so if anyone knows anything or has a different hunch, would help.
So that youād hack off the single 3.5mm end off and solder on a 4-pin XLR termination? Iād just so sooner buy this and maintain this cable intact for non-balanced applications.

Can anyone recommend a good balanced cable for the XS?
Have never owned one before.

What source gear are you plugging into? There are multiple options for balanced plugs.
Entry level setup to begin with. ifi zen dac v2 ā PC
The zen dac has a balanced output. Pentaconn 4.4mm
Unbalanced output is 6.3mm
Will look at other gear down the track if needed, Iām definitely new at this.

Thatās exactly the idea. But I do have the he4xx too, same stock cable. Then another maybe, so I will have spares for SE use. I ordered a couple of 4-pin XLRs for my other cans already, Iām doing all of those so figured may do the same to this cable while Iām at it. The cable you linked is nice but itās going to come at another $30.
I did check on other platforms, they do say it has 4 conductors inside, so should be fine I suppose. Or Iāll just slap on a spare metal SE connector back if itās a fail.
Will give it a shot and update.

Hello all, just checked several shops for purchase availability, here is the answers:
Linsoul and Hifigo - out of stock, asked for several Ali sellers with good ratings, they said they out of stock, and 2-5 days needed to ship from factoryā¦
I ordered from Hifigo when it was in stock earlier today, and it has been shipped already.
It might be my first planar headphones. Currently my main headphones is DT-1990.From Ananda/1990 reviews i hear, that they are both +/- on the same level, but has different presentation, but what about comparison DT-1990 to XS?
p.s. Previously, I took planar headphones from friends for evaluation and comparison, such as: Sundara, Aeon flow closed, but for me personally DT-1990 was winner, interesting what about XS, it will be an upgrade or not?
A little update to my order: shop provided new track number today, and describe the situation with delivery the same as for described below:
There is no updates in new track number, but i hope everything will be ok.
Pretty nice for the price, ordered one. My Edition XS are at my post office, i ordered with Hifigo and though they arenāt the cheapest, iām (once again) very satisfied with the process. Canāt wait to try them out this evening.

Luckily I checked HiFiGo late last night my time and ordered as soon as I saw they had some more stock, I got my shipping advice 18 hours later. 
Try your tracking through aftership, much more detailed.
Free Android app too.
