Just noticed that Drop are selling these on amazon for 180$ on the Drop website its still 130$ i wonder why?

Amazon labels the manufacturer, not the seller on the main page, if you look just above the description or just below the Buy Now button it says " Sold by Kaviso and Fulfilled by Amazon". The link I gave was just the New & Used page for the one you linked.

Itās most likely more expensive on Amazon to drive direct sales on the massdrop website and give people a reason to sign up

Itās more likely that theyāre just selling stuff to certain resellers at or near retail and the resellers are banking on the greater exposure of Amazon to justify the price increase. I donāt think a 5% price increase is going to have people stampeding to drop.com, especially when thereās no indication there that Drop even has their own store.
Wow i didnt notice that. like all their headphones are more expensive on Amazon
Tried a software EQ to add some extra low end to these, and honestly I didnāt really like the result. Maybe Iām far too used to the original signature since it sounded far too off, as if I knocked emā off balance. I donāt think I added that much in the low end to begin with either. How odd.

But then thatād seemingly lead me to Sundaras, or something like that, but on all other accounts Iām beginning to think that I might be satisfied with these alone. Itās been an odd past couple of weeks thatās for sure lmao. Suppose these cans are way too good for their price range.
Thatās something I came to terms with a while ago pretty satisfied where i am. Maybe try playing with pad rolling
Can i ask what amp youāre using?
My amp is a Asgard 3, though I doubt thatās really doing much of anything with the sound.
Nice ampā¦ that should certainly give you the full potential of the 4xx 
ā¦ just making sure an amp upgrade wasnt an option

I have it to, and was dispointet about this Headphone.
When put it on and the Music run,i have the Feeling the Soundstage are completly damped.
Not beautiful open,bright and wide Soundstage.
I donĀ“t know maybe with other Pads are better with Lampskin.But some cost a forturne only for a try.
I try to sell my Hifiman.
Personally i canĀ“t understand he become so good reviews.

Interestingā¦ not my experience at allā¦ I thought the soundstage was very wide and highs were really decent but yeah not the brightest but I enjoyed them alot

both are possible, because itās not my expirience at all either. itās very open, bright and pretty dang wide soundstage. tbh it might be a bad pair, considering their QC issues too
hmm yes I thought about that too, but I couldnāt find anything on the headphones. I didnāt use the original cable, I used my own. I also gave it the 150 hours of warm-up time. It delivers slightly better details than the Fostex trx00 in The highs go well but the rest is not enough for me. Especially the mids and bass is just so subdued for me. You can get used to it but when I unpack the D7200 or the Tr x00 it looks very different, even the old D2000 sounds better, with even better stereo separation from everyone.
I think itās because of the pads. I also bought these Elite Hybrid pads from Dekoni for the Tr x00 and it was exactly the same. Because the pads on the outside leather have fabric on the inside, the Tr x00 also sounded dampened.
Do not understand how to sell such a vote but apparently many like it.
I do not see a pad to try through, because that can also make them poor. Maybe the Sundura might fit well. That was my reason, because it should be better than the He4xx, but I heard it only via cd player without amplifier and nothing to load in an audio. That was nothing, so Iām out again, also because you unconsciously wanted to suggest the Staxx to me.
And about the Asgard 3 i hear good things,i think is not a Amp problem in my eyes.
