šŸ”¶ iBASSO IT00 Single Graphene DD

Disturbed, Tool, Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Evenecence, System of a Down, Papa Roach, Volbeat, Chevelle, Apocalyptica
There are a number of bands I listen to that I’m not sure would quite make the Metal classification

Edit(throwing some of the other bands I listen to): The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Godsmack, Powerman 5000, Breaking Benjamin, Sick Puppies, Egypt Central, In This Moment, Gemini Syndrome, Flaw, Hellyeah, Mudvayne

Ok gotcha… I know Papa Roach, System of the Down, FFDP and Evanescence so I’ll give them a good 11 :+1:

Ok an easy rec for…System of the down…Chop Suey…guitar intro is sweetly handled , drums are :+1::+1: the speed of the vocal delivery and separation between them and the instruments is good but it’s not a wide soundstage.

FFDP…Coming Down…I’d say beautifully presented, Bass on point (drums again) I won’t go into too much detail but I’m rocking out and have no complaints what so ever…Happy to listen to them all night on this set :+1:

Papa Roach…Infested…Slams hard no question, but it’s not too much it just lets you jump into the music without feeling like your eardrums are on a Helter-Skelter cheese grater.

Evanescence…My Immortal…Is probably the least impressive of the above tracks, in no way bad at all but the IT00’s seem to be better with male vocals…this maybe down to my own opinion about a slightly recessed upper mid response, leading a slight less forward female vocal :man_shrugging:

Personally I’d take these over my old Blon 03’s everyday…The Blon’s are like a group of good players…Good highs, good Mids and A + Bass…but for me they never seemed to play as a sonic team… I never felt happy and relaxed listening to them…A group of positive responses don’t always make for a fun listen :man_shrugging:

I would say I agree. My BL03 tend to be the ā€œi have to eat at the table in the living room after work so I don’t have my head torn off, and have to deal with the house rule of only one side in at a timeā€
As for the iBasso… I may end up picking up a pair

My set has notable imbalance issue just 1/2 way through a vid comparing with CCA CA16 :frowning:

This is obviously going to be an issue with this set. Three of us have had channel imbalance issues. UGH.

I was getting driver flex on same side prior to that
. Damn.

What’s the probable cause of a sudden channel imbalance? Maybe there are different batches of these? like I said I had driver flex both sides from day one but 30 hrs in as of yet no channel imbalance…:crossed_fingers:it stays that way.

Hmm… Another reason beyond wait time here state side to keep me from wanting to make the investment… I may just wait to see how this pans out. See if it really is a widespread issue, or if it is just isolated incidents

Unless that commenter is @PapaEmeritus then that is a 4th case.

Which side on your IT00 got lower volume?

For me it was the right side and I got driver flex on both sides.

lol. That is me. The center of the stereo field moved to the left 25%-30%.

Beautiful. Are those Large Spinfit tips?

Here’s the cable I’m using with the IT00. I love it. It’s ridiculously soft.
