Moondrop shared some more information on their upcoming SSP
I got curious, does anyone know what the heaviest iems are?
I can think of:
Ikko OH10
Tri I3
The OH7 will be pretty hefty too due to being in copper as well. Basically any iem made of copper is prob on this scale lol.
The oh7 doesnt look very big though, but I guess the density of copper is higher than other materials.
Yup that is correct.
The Tri i3 isnât near as heavy as the OH10. They have the volume but not the massâŚ
Whatâs the Z1R weigh?
My Starfields are almost here, currently being sent to my country and man I just cannot wait for it for I am dying to hear the sounds and receptions about it whether if itâs true or not. I need those so called improved Tin T2 sounds for I love my T2s so much along with my BL03s.
âApprox. 0.92 oz without cableâ
26 grams, that is damn heavy! (iems usually are around 10 gram If I am not wrongâŚ)
Shanling M5s looks like a really nice deal. Other iems arent that good thoughâŚ
Although the Tin Hifi T2+ got reduced from 60 to 45 usd, so that is a pretty good sale. (although I could have sworn that was the price of it, when it was first releasedâŚ)

What are those in the c/d tier?
One of then seems like a cca model, but donât know the rest.
Kz zsn, Sony mh755, Shure 215/315? And that last one a sony xb50ap?
Personally, Iâd rate the Blon an S and the Starfield an A. Get the right tips on that bad boy and youâve got a fantastic sounding IEM.
The other one I think was an Audio Technica CKS550is, aka earphones that I used to owned before I am into this hobby.
Yeah true, but I prefer the improved sounds of the T2 more aka the Starfields than the BL03s but they do come close though, maybe I should put the BL03s semi-S tier but yeah.
Hey, itâs your list. These are just my opinions. I love the timber of the Blon BL-03. Itâs really hefty in the bass region which I really like. The Starfield is thinner sounding and has a more artificial timber to my ears. I guess I canât help myself from thinking how good of a deal the Blon is as well at only 26 bucks, it is competing with a 110 dollar IEM and in my opinion, sounds better. Incredible value and sound.
indeed, though my BL03s are T2s are competing in terms of sounds for I love both, and I cannot choose which one to use as my main daily driver alone, so instead I use both xD.
