Given that Crin Said he’d want to do a Budget Collab after he was done with the Dusk, I expect this to be that one.
If that‘s gonna be the case we are in for a treat, because that Graph looks so good.

I am not sure I would call the 5db bump at 2.75khz to be looking good. It is really weird is there something comparable out there?

I’m sad to report that I couldn’t for the life of me get a decent seal on the JVC HA FDX1. I really liked the timbre and the richness of the sound, and it sounded almost as good on the Qudelix as the RebelAmp. I was really hopeful, but the bass was always watery and washed out, especially compared to the Blessing 2 which is supposed to have less bass according to charts. It’s the seal. Twice I thought I’d fixed it by rotating the nozzle. I must’ve tried 5 different tip types as well as the included ones. No dice.
I really wished I’d liked the Tea more because it had the most perfect fit of any IEM I’ve tried.
It’s especially frustrating since I’ve tried so many IEMs at this point and the only one that was an unmitigated winner was the KZ DQ6 with Tanya filters, and I just kind of want something a bit more neutral, detailed, and subtle than that. (For the record the list of strike-outs now is: Blon BL03, KZ ZSN, Aria, Campfire Honeyew, OH10, FH5, Tea, Blessing 2, FD5, and now the FDX1. The OH10 and FH5 I was able to try in a store without purchasing. (I tried the Honeydew in store too and liked them but had fit problems.))
Ordered the Moondrop Kato, since it has almost the same FR graph as the B2 but with a bit more bass and less treble, like the FDX1 is supposed to have. If this one doesn’t work, I think I’m just going to content myself with the DQ6, why mess with success.

Thanks for the refs! Will definitely check these out especially if the Kato is a bust.
I was also thinking about how much better the B2 sounds on the RebelAmp than it does on the Qudelix and thought maybe more power will help, so I ordered a cheap balanced cable since the balanced out has more power than the SE.
I only tried the balanced out on the FD5 before and didn’t notice a difference except for volume, but the B2 seems to scale more so we’ll see.
There is also the Audiosense AQ0. I’ve seen some positive reviews but I don’t know too much about it
