It does have a pretty clean bass despite the huge sub.
If you prefer mid bass, then you might enjoy the Final Audio E5000 or the Sony XBA Z5 more.

Iām probably going to stay away from the Sonys. As good as their sound can be, I HATE the IEM shape and fit.

I think they did pretty good for the price point. I think FatFreq does it much better though. Some people want full basshead some people want an accurate yet fun replay (what I consider āaudiophileā). I agree these deliver neither of those but an in between that I really appreciate. It seems like the EST50 is what they were generally shooting for based on the graph and @MMag05ās comments.
I hear that and my comment is not meant to take anything away form the EA500. I just didnāt like it stock. Not enough bass and too much mid energy. I can appreciate that people like the tuning and its got good bones and mod potential but if I am picking one its gotta hit my tuning.
My modded EA500 nozzles are going to make their way to Mags. Impressions will be had, as wanted

@GooberBM ās modded EA500 is rather incredible. The driver in the EA500 is quite capable with speed particularly. Hearing a bass guitar being played at speed with the mods was awesome

I tried various mods on the front vent and while bass quantity went up it felt strained to me. That second graph looks pretty good though NGL
Yes, these mods I tried do downgrade the quality a bit.

Iām surprised they didnāt go right for the throat of the Hexa with this one. 2023 - the year of the dual DD though! Kiwi Ears is coming for every price bracket this year - I love it.

I have the SR5 and Neon Pro. I rarely pick up the SR5, but am listening to the Neon Pro right now. They are one of the best sounding sets I own. I canāt speak highly enough of the work AĆ¼r is doing.

Iām contemplating between the Neon Pro and the Supernova. Neon Pro looks like a better fun all arounder for my library and Supernova more in line with what would be my personal neutral target.

I too am very much interested in the Neon Pro. I spoke to Nicholas from AĆ¼r Audio yesterday, and was informed they have a DD + BA in the works, thatās meant to be announced in May, as well as a DD + BA + EST tribrid coming later on

I would find this very interesting if I didnāt already have the Fan 2, and if something can sound better to my taste with the same configuration, Iād be amazed.
Although the Fan 2 can be bought new at half price on certain occasions, its sticker price is still much higher than this though.
Outside of my own situation, if think these look great, are priced well, and have a lot of potential to sound well too.
