Tq…very helpful…will set once received the set.

Sorry newbie question…using Neutron player.

LSQ is low shelf right? And what is Q vs BW values.

yes

Think of it like Celsius vs Fahrenheit, just different types to do the same thing. Just use Q values, thats the most used one.

Final question…200hz…Q value mentioned as 01…is it 0.1 or just 1?

Oh lol. That is a “1”.

0.1 would affect everything from 20Hz to around 3k.

interesting indeed, an xMEMS IEM… Cool tech. The booth at CaJam was packed! But wasn’t the point of the tech to be affordable? I assume it will be eventually, but god dayum that price tag.

Yes, it is supposed to be cheap (piezo based tech) but as always, first implementation of new tech is always gonna be expensive.

Of course, I wasn’t expecting a Kilobuck if I’m honest but hey, it’s gotta start somewhere.

Probably gonna go the way the Sonion ESTs went. Where they were only found in kilobuck gear a few years ago and now they can be had for as low as 300 usd (TRN BAX).

Although I can see the xMEMS going even lower due to the price of the drivers (should be a lot cheaper than Sonion ESTs).

Probably a good assessment. I didn’t get the chance to hear the tech my self, but It seems very promising.

I suspect xMEMS iems will still need a DD (or something else) to act as a woofer as I really doubt a piezo based driver can do that well.

$1200 for a new technology under research! No thanks. I have settled very comfortably with the old SA6 MK2 technology .
The technology of the IE600 is not bad either :slightly_smiling_face:.
But at DUNU, the technology is better for my ears .

I agree but it’s nice to see new tech as the IEM market is getting a bit stagnant…good but stagnant.
