Piccolo is a sneaky, low-key nice budget IEM IMO

I like them so much that I bought them in black and silver.

Thatā€™s EXACTLY how I feel about the U12t omg
I keep going back and forth on whether I should sell them but I really should because I never listen to them these days :pensive:

I wonder though do the U4ā€™s not do bass exceptionally well what with the DD?
Just because I already find the U12t bass very good despite being BA but Iā€™d imagine the U4 is even better?

I did not try the U4s with the M20 modules like I did with the U12t, but with the M12 modules, Iā€™d say itā€™s a hair less when it comes to quantity but the U12t just felt more tactile and textured while the U4s had a touch more physicality. The bass on the U12t is fantastic though.

Again this is from memory, and I could totally be wrong. Maybe someone has both on hand? Long shot but you never know.

Drivers: 3*6mm Titanium Dome Dynamic Driver + 6mm Passive Radiator
Sensitivity: 104dB/mw (1kHz)
Impedance: 12Ī©Ā±1 (1kHz)
Distortion ā‰¤3% (1kHz)

:sunglasses:
3DD + 1 passive radiator. Interesting

Born in secrecy in the labs of a Shortbus code named Glamdring. Forged in iron ready to transcend you in a psychedelic journey through deep space. Youā€™re eardrums will be slammed with thrust of the ignition and delighted with texture of the rumble on lift off. Moments later youā€™ll look back at earth. Only then will you realize how big and grandiose its space is. While the silence and the blackness of what lays ahead brings you into a euphoric state. You close your eyes and youā€™re taken to the center stage of the universe. The sounds surround you as stardust wisp by you with a twinkle. Itā€™s a surreal feeling built from the culmination of all things deep space. It speaks to you as if itā€™s an extension of your emotion that knows exactly what you want. You tell yourself that earth is my home yet, space is your calling.

This is the journey both written and visual that Glamdring represents for me. Michael is an absolute beast with modding and tuning and did a tremendous job hitting a near perfect balance for my preference.

@domq422 gave me one of the descriptors of the Panda as enveloping, does the Glamdring carry that descriptor too?

Seems like the soundstage is nice, I wonder how does it perform with games. How do you find the vocals on Glamdring? :slightly_smiling_face:

Michael has at least played Doom with them and says itā€™s fantastic.

Well damn, looks like a slightly better DT600 for like 1/3 of the price (with discount). And seems to pretty much confirm their ties (oem or sister company) to Audiosense.

If it responds like the DT600 does to impedance adapters, then that is probably the best BA iem in that price range (until we go 2x up to the Orchestra Lite).

So youā€™re saying someone needs to bite the bullet for the team and find out?

Questyle M15 for ā‚¬125? Is this a worthwhile deal - it may be tempting me. Measurements are weak but itā€™s current based soā€¦

I already asked Ian to measure it with an impedance adapter (he has 10ohm adapter).

But JC has confirmed by ear that it seems to be the same effect.

Apparently they are not connected - I asked previously and they said no - but sure does look like itā€¦ :man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

Donā€™t Audiosense already have a budget division also - the name escapes meā€¦

People on hf discovery thread were talking about how Floaudio seems to be using audiosense as the OEM. (maybe they are under NDA and cant actually admit it.)
