Have you considered the Quedelix 5K, or do you want the 4.4mm balanced? The 5K is such a great product

IMO, as the 11 does not have PEQ I would go for the 13. That alone is the dealbreaker on the 11 for me.
BTR13 looks better on paper to me honestly. qudelix software should be a lot better still though.

Thanks for the suggestion - the Q5K is great - my interest is mainly in finding an alternative after all these years of it’s dominance… So pretty much what @Rikudou_Goku was saying about the spec - along with it being a little cheaper - we may finally have a potential rival to the Q5K (which does feel a little old in the tooth) if they can invest in better software (where the Q5K has traditionally pulled ahead).
So wondered how it fares as a complete package.

Pretty sure I am going to pick the BTR13 up on 11.11.
But you know what’s it’s like - was buying something in the Choice sale and needed to add some stuff to the cart to get coupons 
so BTR11 suddenly looked very appealing.

Bad news folks, it’s been like a week now and there is still no reply from Letshuoer regarding about the warranty of my S08s. Looks like I am gonna have to open this left ear piece up to see what was causing the drivers to not working anymore, for it sucks for this IEM is one of my favorites this year.
I don’t know what to do anymore, I might as well buy a newer IEM instead as a replacement to this like an AFUL Performer 5 or even the Explorer. Man, it just sucks that my S08, have to get broken like that.

where did you buy them? first i have seen a faulty driver with s08.
I’ll have to be honest on this one and like you said it was two years ago…I can’t remember all that went on but when KL was released it was not your intended tuning, is that correct?..Did you still get paid for your work with LETSHUOER? if so I guess they just wanted your branding on the set?

I bought it from a store called Feigu Audio, and I am hoping they are a Letshouer affiliated store. Even if I did send this back to them, the shipping costs for me is going to be costly therefore I think I should just dissect this left ear piece and open it up, to see if I can still fix it.
I am hoping that the driver didn’t die, instead there is just a disconnection happened, meaning the wired wasn’t soldered well to the 2-pin connector. Then again it has been slightly ruined back then so I might as well do it, I am not exactly losing anything of me just opening this up, since I wanted to make it work again for I like the sounds of the S08.
hope for the best for you then. i plan to buy through linsoul so i thinkg warranty with them should be better

Depends on the source. And the tips. And the music. Run it off something like an Onix XM5 or Goldenwave Prelude, there will be plenty of meat on the bone for most. I would say that it’s sub bass kick is good enough for most people on most sources.
i can’t vouch for crin’s hangout.audio store, but they do have price range sliders and the graphs (graph.hangout.audio/iem/5128/) to go with it to help suss out the typical popular recs in the price range.
maybe obvious for some but it’s been helpful for me to keep track of recent releases prices/graphs
