I’ve heard good things about the Dawn X, i wouldn’t write it off just yet.
It would be nice if you could find an opportunity to try it personally.
Monarch is a staple, and a proven track record, that could be a blind buy rec. But if you want something different then dawn x or myth i suppose.

I would avoid AFUL as well, not because their sets have been bad to me but it’s because of their shoddy quality control. I’ve had 2 broken AFUL Performer 7s from them, one is the first one that I got and the other one was the replacement for the previous that broke, and that one broke as well.
It’s a shame really, for I really like the Performer 7 from them, and I am still mad on how they cannot do right on that aspect, oh and the nozzle lipless nozzles and as well as the cable not being modular still even on the higher prices, is overall criminal. I really cannot recommend their products unless some improvements and changes have been done.

I know it can be a bit of a crap shoot with them sometimes. My P7s have been flawless for over a year now. Watch, now that I have said it…

And I hope it remains working for a long time, for I don’t want the others experienced that I have had experienced with mine, for that set even with that price is still expensive as hell, and you still pay hard-earned money and you expect that product to work.
I am not getting anything from AFUL and right now, they are living up to their brand name when we’re talking about QC and the small nuances that requires the IEM to work in a fundamental level. FFS! Stop making nozzle lipless IEMs!

Lipless Nozzle iem
Had that on the variations, never ever going back to that again.
The nozzle was big enough for tips to grip on, but once it loses the grip, the eartips falls out.
I think the only nozzle lipless IEM set that worked for me overall and never had any issues of the eartips I use slip off from it one bit would be the Softears Volume S. The other ones like the EPZ P50 and the Simgot EM6L, very good IEMs overall but the nozzle lipless design on those grind my damn gears to a fault that I just wanna scream at these companies and beg for those with lips on those nozzles.

Yep. Same happened to me with Final Audio Type E tips and the MagicOne. That was the only tip that made the MO work for me, and they became more slippery than a greased pig on the loose with the lipless nozzle once a bit of wax got into the stem.
Stupid design decision by AFUL.

The Volume S was lipless? Hell, they worked great for me when I owned them, unlike the lipless Explorer and MagicOne from AFUL.

Lipless design is not good yeah. This is a little trick that can help though.
Put a silicone o-ring on the stem so it helps tighten the fit on the nozzle.

I use Azla SednaEarfit Origin eartips on the MagicOne and SednaEarfit Light eartips on my P7. Both have stayed in place for months.

I think the wax levels in your ear play a far bigger role than the tip type in determining whether they’ll stay on a lipless AFUL IEM.
I’m waxy – all my tips get slick.
I used to use Spinfit eartips when I got into this hobby. My first IEM was the Moondrop Starfield. The Spinfits would start losing their grip on the nozzles after a few months of use even though I cleaned the nozzles and the eartips. Eventually a Spinfit eartip would remain stuck one of my ears when I removed my IEMs.

Yeah love those Sony EP-EX11 tips. Favorite budget tips alongside the Elecom EHP-CAP20.
Favorite tip being Final Audio Type E but damn are those expensive in comparison…

I heard a pretty good close tips in terms of sound quality (not referring to finish material and feeling on ears) would be the HE sonic black tips
