IEM discussion thread (Part 2)

My еars are itching for Cinocotres, but I’ll stay strong if possible. :grinning:
BTW, not many people are talking about the H2, and it’s a killer for the price. :zap:

Once some graphs come in for the cinocotres idk if the H2 will be worth it at that price point anymore

Crazy times we live in…

Hype 2 was considered a steal not that long ago.

nvm abort mission.

50 ohm OI. :joy:

File compatibility goes:
Flac 24/96 FAIL
Flac 24/48 Success
Flac 16/44.1 SUCCESS
wav 16/44.1 SUCCESS
Wav 32/48 FAIL
wav 24/48 SUCCESS
wav 24/96 FAIL

Also CANNOT USE ANY DONGLES AT ALL with it. (connect and it still plays through its shitty af speakers.)

Yeah just skip this…even though it is a battery beast…

Good investigation! Haha, yeah 50 ohm output impedance is a dealbreaker… you can use it with your HD650s…quietly

Yep, sounds like a no-go for DAP use.

Yeah, high impedance earbuds would be fine I guess.

If used with earbuds and you are the type to use the shuffle function, then it is fine. For me that listens to X track by searching up the artist/album, it is cancer.

I really liked the Cinno despite the lack of bass, so I am really excited about a serious bass set.

That will get me to three sets in the pipeline.

@thoohil the more you post that graph and talk about how awesome its bass is the more I want it :sob:

I also am puzzled at that Cinocotres description, I’d bet the bass quantity is reduced overall maybe 2-3 db to get that “studio” tuning. At this point I’m more concerned what they did in the treble.

Hey everyone, new guy here. So I have been shamelessly stalking this thread (and the original one) for a while now, and it was one of the main deciding factors for purchasing the Hype 2 late last year. I absolutely adore those IEMs, so I really appreciate all the info being posted on here.

So with some sales going on, I’m really pondering grabbing either the Ziigaat Doscinco or the Cinococotres, but I’m mighty torn on which to go with. Going by the description on the product page I was originally leaning towards the Doscino, but I see that most people seem very excited about the Cinococotres. My listening preferences mostly sit in various sub-genres of EDM, and I love my bass music. I realize that this might be a pointless question as there isn’t much info on both of these sets out there, but any suggestion / opinions as to which way I should lean with my potential purchase based on my listening preferences?

I haven’t seen anyone post even a single impression of the Cinocotres. Going by the promotional material, that one is supposed to be much more neutrally tuned (“studio tuning”). If you like EDM and bassy music, then the Doscinco seems to be the one to blind buy for you - and it’s getting actual hype in the form of people who have listened to it.

Thanks! Yeah… In hindsight this was a dumb question as I have been looking around as well and haven’t seen a thing on the Cinocotres as of yet. I feel like I’ll probably give the Doscinco a go as I originally planned, seems like they’ll hit hard with the DnB. Again, appreciate it :+1:

Mark is one of the reviewers I trust. He seems to be level-headed, not a shill and always offers pros and cons for each set.

Plus he and I executed a flawless trade for some over-ear cans a couple of years ago. Very good guy.

Mark is a very good and decent man, but I cannot understand his love for Blessing IEM :grinning:
A joke

A lot of people like Blessings, man. Moondrop must have sold many of them, or we wouldn’t be on version 3.

He admittedly likes bright tuning. The part to my eye was there are a couple of legit bass sets on his current top 5, which has historically not been the case. Maybe Mark is learning that you are allowed to enjoy the music too ( I am saying that sarcastically ).

I was looking at my outstanding orders, and I have good stuff in the pipeline right now.

Simgot EA500LM - in the US since Friday, so probably sometime this week

Shozy Form1.1 - not shipped. Preorder claimed it was going to “ARRIVE IN MID-LATE FEBRUARY 2024” - This is an older set, but the graph look super interesting, and I dig low pinna gain.
ZIIGAAT Doscinco - not shipped ( just ordered it Friday )
