Canjam Singapore impressions by lycos:

7th Acoustics Asteria
Supernova on steroids. It still maintain Supernova safe tuning and sweet vocal but with bigger and punchier bass - and totl details.

Symphonium Titan
Bassy iem tuned right. I really love the subbass quantity and bass texture - without muddying the mid. Treble is also sparkle enough but non offensive. Possibly the star of the show for me.

Elysian Pilgrim Noir & OG
Og feels like a baby Anni. Tuned to be more neutral with slightly more forward upper mid but without being sibilance. It’s the best iem under $500 I’ve ever heard.

Noir is bassier and warmer - treble isnt as forward. Its more fun that og. Bass texture is definitely a step up from the og.

Did they say when the Pilgrim will be for sale?

Are you serious, there’s an OG and Noir now

That’s a fuckin hard one to choose from lol

Might do OG tho since I’ll never afford Anni in my life unless Mr. Beast gives me one to flex lol

If someone is interested in the Softears Enigma… reading this they doesn’t seem exciting:

I haven’t much followed the IEM scene for a few years now. What’s the current best budget options in the $40~$100 range? Preferably looking for anything Neutral-Warm, nonfatiguing.

My favorite budget set is Tanya DSP.
My favorite under $100 is still Olina SE.
Truthear Zero Red is also good but I didn’t like the treble and found it too thin for bass and male vocals.

Edit: I removed the Clear because it doesn’t like it graphs like the Juzear 41T ($169).

Kefine Delci is getting good reviews and Simgot EM6L is praise for being a good bright set.

Thanks! I’ll check these out

I don’t know if it would qualify as warm, but you may want to keep an eye on the new Tangzu x HBB Xuan NV. Pretty good early reports, neutral-ish tune with a slight subbass raise and early sale of $70 that goes up to $79 retail.

I only read 1 impression so far on the Nv. Can you point me to more?

I will have to dig, I think they may have been scattered around Head-fi and various Discords.
Edit: on further searching, I can’t find any impressions other than Baskingshark’s so maybe I got them confused with another set or halucinated? Either way, I’m sure more impressions will arise in short order.

Aful MagicOne is $110 at Amazon. Fits your preferences ideally. Tuning over technicalities. Musicality over the last ounce of detail.

My review of the Simgot EA500 LM is up in my HiFiGuides thread:

What does everybody think of the Yanyin Aladdin?

Still relevant? What type of tuning competitors/upgrades would it have? And most importantly what price would represent good value in today’s landscape?

Thanks for any opinions

I’ll keep this one in mind as well. Right now I’m browsing the used market for deals. So far, I’ve picked up a T2 plus

Anyone got experience between Plutus Beast and Bqeyz’s Wind?

Is wind better enough to justify the price gap?

Alternatively, something with BC in that price point that’s a good rec. I might go for wind but defaulting to beast is easier on the wallet for planning ahead lol

Pretty sure @VIVIDICI_111 woud say yes. Unequivocally, yes

The beast is dark leaning, the Wind is neutral-bright leaning, I’d go with the Wind unless you can get the beast at a good price

If you want my beast I’ll give it to you for $65 shipping included (for NA)
